We came to Selvins for a birthday brunch. To start, the service was super slow. Not sure if we were seated in area that was away from other patrons, but our waiter was slow and not very attentive. Drinks, food, condiments etc took forever to arrive. When it did arrive it was a complete disappointment. Eggs Benedict had no taste and hardly any hollandaise sauce and the hash brown was burnt. Overall not impressed and won’t be coming back.

This was our first time here and what a lovely experience. We went right as they opened so it was quiet and we had servers full attention. The food and drinks were all amazing- great presentation and tase. The atmosphere was very chic. All and all a great place for a special night out.

We ate at Selvin’s after our car had mechanical problems causing us to stay a few days unexpectedly in Thousand Oaks. We were so glad to find this excellent restaurant so conveniently located.

Thank you Selvin’s; thank you to the kitchen staff for an incredibly delicious dinner; thank you to the food purveyors as everything from the shrimp cocktail to the prime rib to the poached pear… everything was fresh and prepared beautifully. Thank you to the bar tenders for creative drink designs disguising potent delicious concoctions. Thank you to the DJ for great dancing music, ringing in the New Year in capping off an evening that we all will remember. Thank you and God bless to Selvin’s in the New Year.

We had a fabulous New Years Eve dinner!! Food, service and entertainment were wonderful. Dancing and music were so fun!! Our server, Cory was very helpful and friendly and took care of all of us the whole night!! We will make Selvin's a new favorite spot to dine!!

Our booth provided a semi-private environment for great conversation. Every dish ordered was delicious—Steak Frites, Funghi Pizza, Penne a la Vodka, Focaccia, Green Beans—all exceptional. And the service was spot on, there when needed & allowing generous time in our booth.
