Serenade American Brasserie reimagines a classic brasserie through a Lone Star lens, creating one of Austin’s most central and relaxed dining destinations. Welcome to a place where the allure of French oak meets the draw of Texas smoke.

Featuring locally-sourced dishes for all day dining, Serenade offers elevated comfort food in a setting that is both approachable and tranquil. The cocktails are bespoke and inventive, the wine list is globally curated, and the beer selection ranges from European specialties to local Austin brews. Serenade is led by Chef Johnny Ray Stinebaugh, with menu development overseen by W Austin’s Executive Chef Manuel Rodriguez.

Located on the ground floor of W Austin, Serenade spans an inviting indoor-outdoor and day-to-evening space. In the dining room and at the large focal point bar, double-height ceilings enhance the soft, golden light, while avian motifs appear throughout.

Good service, good menu, good food - except for a few items that could do with some refinement, lively environment at times too loud, good for group meals not an intimate date night place. Great wine pours. Recommend trying.

Delighted with this new W Hotel restaurant- stunning interior. Excellent duck confit - tender and flavorful like we enjoy in European restaurants. Crisp and fresh endive salad with luscious rose water dressing. The bird’s nest cocktail is light and refreshing. We enjoyed excellent service and a quiet dining atmosphere.

Had to use my hotel credit for one dinner, I think that it is only worth it that way, by using come hotel credit. Plates are really small and way too expensive, for example the fish is good, very small but about $35. The tomahawk $180 very good, but there are better steak restaurants.

The new space is GORGEOUS. And the food was outstanding. And then you have the great W staff that never disappoints. I liked Trace when it was around but Serenade is even better.

Nice place to come to unwind. The noise level is perfect so a conversation can be heard without having to raise your voice. The food tasted really good, however, the value for what you got was overpriced. The server was attentive but was not forthcoming in asking if we wanted dessert after our meal. When we inquired about dessert we were pleasantly impressed with the variety that was offered, and we were not disappointed in what we received. I’d come back again and do heavy appetizers with cocktails but wouldn’t have dinner because of the price.

Had a post-work meal at the hotel restaurant with a few colleagues. The decor is fun: velvet wallpaper, interesting lighting (although we were along the wall in the "banquette" and it was far too dark in comparison). Wednesday night and we, almost, had the entire place to ourselves. 'Wondering if this hotel establishment cannot compete with the surrounding multitude of restaurants?? Felt a tad eerie. Anyway... Food was good-enough. Duck Confit was actually very good and paired well with it's accompaniments. One colleage had the Pan Roasted Sea Bass and it was quite tasty. The other colleague had the Chicken Paillard and it was routine. Unfortunately, some of the apps or sides were a bit lacking. Carrots in 'smoked carrot salad' could have been cooked a wee-bit more to meld into the salad's chew-ability and the 'duck fat potatoes' had an unnecessary cheese with no trace, we could find, of the Jambon de Savoie. We shared a chocolate lava cake with was DELICIOUS! We waited a longer-than expected time to have our wait-staff greet us and take our drink orders...which was a bummer since it was only our party and one other. Eventually, however, they became quite attentive once. Overall, a decent meal for a "hotel restaurant".

Serenade was absolutely delicious! The crab Benedict was amazing and the pancakes are the best I’ve had. Beautiful space and service!

The sea bass was so delicious!! The design of the restaurant is very unique and not something you see in other Austin restaurants- the pink/orange stone on the floor and the mosaic on the wall are so beautiful! I really also enjoyed the gougeres to start! I can see this being a brunch hot spot, but also there is good items on the menu for anytime of the day. We will be back!
