Shadowbrook Winery has become the East Bay’s most decorated winery with over 75 medals. Shadowbrook is a small production family-owned winery located in the foothills of Mt. Diablo. We offer a diverse selection of exceptional red wines, along with some fantastic white wine options. Whether you're looking for a wine tasting experience, a glass or bottle to enjoy, or even a variety of local beers on draft, we’ve got something for everyone. Pair it all with our excellent food menu for the perfect experience. We offer various seating options all with beautiful views of Mt. Diablo and our vineyards. There truly isn't a bad seat in the house! Most seating is outdoors to enjoy the scenery, with covered patios, shade, and umbrellas for warm days, plus heaters, a fireplace, and fire pits for cooler weather. We also offer indoor seating, though it does not have the same views. All seating is first-come, first-served. Please note we are reservation-only, so plan ahead!

It was my first time visiting this place. The view of the vineyard was beautiful and we enjoyed the wine and food very much. They helped us select a red wine and dishes for us. The weather was great and time passed quickly.

Pretty good experience, a few things to mention. They did not have enough gluten free choices, they did not explain wines. They just dropped them off and kept moving. The prices on food were kind of expensive. Overall, I would go back and demand better.

We went for a late Valentine’s Day dinner on Saturday. We each had a glass of wine that was delicious. The food was excellent. We had four different courses. Each was expertly prepared and the flavors were unique. We would highly recommend this dining and wine experience.

Another great experience at Shadowbrook! Food was excellent, although both the soup and pasta could have been a bit warmer. Tim, the owner, was our waiter and was delightful.

We enjoyed the food on Valentines Day. It was a price fix dinner $125/person with a 20% tip. We accepted that when we made the reservation. We then ordered three wines by the glass at an average price of $25/6oz pour. The waiter was very careful not to pour too much into the glass. What really cast a pall on the evening was then being forced to pay a 20% service fee on the wine at the end of the night.
