Experience the best of Shimogamo with our Omakase menu, which means “leave it up to you”. Our expert staff will curate a menu, tailored to your preferences and dietary restrictions. Please note that this is NOT a customly created chef's tasting course, but rather a compilation of our existing menu and specials of the day. Designed for sharing, this menu is perfect for groups of two or more and requires a minimum of two guests. To ensure availability, reservations are required. The Omakase menu is priced per person and excludes tax and gratuity. Beverages are not included in the course but can be added at an additional cost. Please allow approximately two hours for a party of two, and three hours or more for larger groups.

We had the most incredible experience. The food was excellent. Our service from John was the best. The lunch portions were surprisingly larger than expected. And the food was fresh. We will definitely return.

We’ve gone to the original location several times, this was our first time at this location and we were disappointed. The food was perfect as always but the service was subpar, especially compared to the original location. Our waiter seemed annoyed the whole time and was very quiet and almost timid. We had the bartenders choose for one of the cocktails at our table. He came over with it, asked who got dealers choice, and sat it down and walked away before we had to stop and ask him what it was. The guy who delivered our food was the only one who was engaged and helpful through the whole meal. Just a totally different experience from the Chandler location, who always seem way more engaged and helpful with making decisions. We will not go back to this location.

Overpriced with unfriendly service. Menu lacked in description. Our meals were delivered about 20 minutes apart (for 2 people). Very underwhelming experience and won’t be returning,

We celebrated a birthday and it was wonderful! Service and food were great. Definitely make a reservation but be ready to be seated at the sushi counter. Only negative was the restaurant would run out of certain thing (i.e. first it was the bacon wrapped shrimp, then sirloin skewers, and even the sake cheesecake that I had ordered for the birthday dessert but out by the time we needed it).

Waste our date night at this sub par restaurant. We booked outdoor seating for 7:15pm. Waited till 7:47pm and then the hostess gave us an indoor seating next to the cleaning station. The entire dinner we basically saw white cloth being squeezed with dirty water. The vegan roll was rice and spicy salsa. The vegan roll with cucumber asparagus and carrot was hopeless and falling apart. My husband and I booked a sitter and for first time in months went out for This crappy food and service.
