We ate here for a late Sunday lunch. Our only disappointment was that they didn’t do the a la carte menu despite it saying that they did on the website - my husband had already picked what he wanted and couldn’t order it! But the Sunday roast was superb. Huge portions. We had the pork and the mackerel which were both great. Lovely dining room too.

Also think that the amount service charge should be a choice not automatically added .
Of course leave tip but this should be discretionary .

I came to Silures hoping for great food, ambience, decor, service and quality. I got everything I expected and a bit more. Food was great - cooked to perfection & seasoned well; presented artistically but with meaning, and it all tasted just like it should. Service and attention was perfect - not overbearing but suitable to each course. I enjoyed my time there immensely and hope to revisit soon.

Went on 6 nations day for lunch.
In nice suburb 35 mins wslk out of city centre
Initially a little disappointed that the halibut not available at lunchtime , but all other menu options were great , particularly the poached salmon starter and cauliflower steak main,some nice "sides"
Service very professional without being overbearing
Relaxed , but smart environment
Pleased we made the effort to venture out of the centre.

Went for food and drinks Saturday midday, went for the bottomless brunch with champagne and it was really nice, service is always amazing here and the chicken we both had was delicious, we will definitely be back. 10/10 for me.

We saw an Instagram post with amazing footage of the venue & food. So our daughter bought us vouchers for Christmas. Wow what an absolutely beautiful place the food and service was outstanding!!!
We will definitely will be returning with friend’s & family and will highly recommend to everyone.

A birthday gift from my children. Roath is not an easy area of Cardiff for us to get to on public transport so we didn’t know the restaurant in advance.

We had dinner at Silures for the first time and absolutely loved it. Quite honestly, everything was simply fantastic. That was the best tart tartin I’ve ever had! Please go if you haven’t been, you won’t be disappointed.

We had a lovely evening at Silures. Have only ever had a drink here previously. Everything was spot on: foo, service and the ambiance. The wine recommended by the waiter was delicious. Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon.
