Set in a gorgeous Grade II-listed Georgian villa, the decor is bright and modern but respects the building’s elegance and heritage.

The food, too, respects classical tradition, but is a contemporary take on British cuisine - combining influences from around the world in dishes based on fabulous impeccably sourced seasonal ingredients.

Enjoy an aperitif in one of the elegant lounges in the older part of the building before moving on to the sleek restaurant with its blonde wood beams, exposed stone walls and bi-fold doors opening onto the garden.

The knowledge and experience of Head Chef Luke Tipping shows through in the assured, confident nature of the cooking – and he has the skill to know when to hold back. Dishes are balanced and pure, with subtle modern touches and a pleasing clarity of flavour; be sure to try the signature tapenade bread rolls and delicious soufflés.

Service is enthusiastic and brims with personality.

    Eureka, our superbly equipped cookery school and development kitchen, is about discovery. Discovering the skills and techniques used by Simpsons chefs to create delicious dishes. And discovering and unleashing your own culinary talents. Our cookery classes are a hands-on experience, with chefs helping you create fabulous contemporary dishes. The Eureka Kitchen is priced at £195 per person, to include lunch. If you have a voucher, please give our office a call to book a place! Unfortunately, we are not able to cater for specific dietary requirements or allergies.

For both lunch and dinner, you can enjoy our Classic or Prestige Menus, with these being the only options available for dinner. Our 3 Course Menu is gives you a range of starters, mains and desserts to choose from. Showcasing a broad range of culinary skills using the best seasonal produce available. Wine selection by the glass is available to accompany the courses. Our current menu is displayed on our website but is also liable for change as new dishes are developed daily.

    Heritage Beetroot was a great surprise, but the scallop with black pudding and nasturtium oil was also splendid. There was no weak course and all the courses and wines were helpfully explained with humour and warmth. Another lovely evening.

    Excellent, we have been to the Cross in Kenilworth many times and thought we would try Simpsons. Parking a bit of problem particularly when its raining as we had to park down the road as no spaces were available. Once we arrived the welcome was very good and we had a drink in the lounge, which was lovely. From then on superb, service, all the food and delivered at the right pace. We will come again thank you.

    I ordered the Sunday roast and it was stunning, followed by the tiramisu souffle, which was sublime. I highly recommend.

    This is a fabulous place to dine for a special occasion. Lunch was to such a high standard - pretty food and very tasty. Staff were so welcoming.

    This was our first time going to Simpsons and we chose the Lunch Menu. Overall it was an excellent afternoon. The staff are very friendly with the right amount of attentiveness, and the overall ambiance is relaxed. The food was outstanding, with standout dishes being the Monkfish main and the Tiramisu Soufflé. We will definitely be going back.
