   Booked a reservation for valentines Day for dinner and was disappointed to find out it was only a two option Valentines dinner menu at 95.00 per person. Way over priced. Their daily menu wasn’t an option to choose from. If we had know that we wouldnt have made reservation there for that night. Very disappointed. We will try again another time with full menu options.

   We really enjoyed our dinner at 628 steakhouse. The filet mignon was possibly the best I've ever had! Cooked perfectly and fork tender! My husband said the same about his ribeye. Brussel sprouts were wonderful, as was the gem salad! Great service! We do miss the ambiance that the Timbers steakhouse had, but all in all, a really great meal!

   The service was terrible! The bar service was great amazing Whiskey selection. Our meals were mostly good just not to the level of what they charge. The Halibut was perfect as was the risotto. The greenbeans ran the gamut from raw to overcooked. The Ribeye steak was cooked perfectly but the actual cut was more choice level than what you would expect of this level of restaurant. The baked potatoes were undercooked.

   It was a Saturday, earliest reservation at opening. 4:00 for 2. We had the crab cakes as a starter. 3 very small but flavor packed servings. Perfect size. I had the 12oz filet with lobster Oscar as an addition. Sides were mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. My husband had a ribeye with baked potatoes and asparagus. Both cooked to temperature requested. I requested medium instead of medium rare and was sorry because the chef was quite good and didn’t undercook our beef as is so often the case. My error in not trusting. Service was attentive without hovering. Ambiance was classy and understated which was soothing. We were in a booth which was spacious and comfortable. Water was on the table for refills. Very nice. Would definitely dine there again. Prices were not out of line with other steak houses plus 2 sides were included which often is not the case in other restaurants. Delicious, perfectly seasoned food.

   First time here our waitress was really nice, but also seem to be bothered when I would ask her for help after she was done checking on another table, but I had to take the opportunity anytime She came to check on the other table , because she rarely come out from the back. It was just us and another table eating so maybe that’s why she wasn’t their present all the time, but it would’ve been nice if she came out more often.  food wasn’t too bad, but not nothing too crazy. My baked potato was pretty hard and cold.

   My wife and I came to enjoy a date night dinner at 628. I had the Hungarian mushroom soup that was great tasting. We both ordered the Beef Wellington that was on Special and not on the regular menu. It was excellent!! The meat was so tender it melted in my mouth. The outer crust was so flaky. We both had mashed potatoes as one of our sides, I had the Brussels sprouts and my wife had the grilled asparagus and sweet potato bits. Everything we ate exceeded our expectations and our server Todd was very attentive. The only negative was that they no longer offer their rice pilaf as a side which I enjoy more than potatoes. We will definitely be back. It was a great night!!

    The food was great, the service not so much. Got there about 30 minutes ahead of our reservation and sat at the bar. 5 people were getting their drinks, after that the bartender made 2 drinks for the restaurant. We were next, so we thought, bartender fiddled with paperwork and never came our way or said anything to us, even when we said out loud we could go next door to get a drink, which we did. When we came back, no one at the hostess desk, waited, walked inside, a few tables, not really busy, no one came over to talk to us, went back to the hostess desk and the one of the bus boys came out and said he would seat us. Took a while before our order was taken, waitress apologized for the wait, the food was great, but it was a rough start to the evening. Seemed like there was plenty of staff and not busy, so not sure what was going on.
