SKÝ Restaurant & Bar is perfectly situated in the center of down town Reykjavík. The restaurant is located on the 8th floor at CenterHotel Arnarhvoll. With breathtaking views over Faxaflói Bay, Harpa Music Hall and Reykjavik harbour it gives you the view of a lifetime. SKY is designed in a modern, yet relaxed style with a sizable 8th floor veranda with tables and chairs where our guests can enjoy their refreshments and take in the invigorating Icelandic air. We offer a variety of dishes made of fresh Icelandic ingredients along with our feature cocktails, fine wines and other spirits. As well as serving a delicious menu of lite bites we also offer a wonderful group menu and with that we welcome groups up to 80 guests. SKÝ is the perfect restaurant go to before enjoying concerts at Harpa Concert Hall with it's close vicinity to the Concert Hall.

The food is really good and lovely people, would definitely recommend, does look fancy but they make up for it with the food

We chose the Sky bar for my husbands 50th birthday during our recent trip to Reykjavík. We booked through Open Table and advised them it was a special occasion. On arrival we were shown to our table. We waited 25 minutes to order a drink but there was no sign of the waiter coming near our table (seemed to be serving all the other tables). I finally asked as he walked past. He gave a big sigh as he took our order which I thought was really rude. When the drinks came I asked if we could order the food which earned me a eye roll & another sigh! The food was lovely & could not fault it at all. The waiter was a bit more friendly by the end of the meal but that was probably as he wanted a tip! Also there was no mention of my husbands birthday which was a bit disappointing. We were going to stay for dessert/ cocktails but just felt like leaving. We felt it spoilt our special evening & wished we’d booked elsewhere. It’s a shame as the food was lovely.

While we were there on a rainy night , you can appreciate that the view is great. We were tourists and so had eaten in many Icelandic restaurants at that point. The wait staff very indifferent, not very engaging. The wait staff was poorly trained; reaching across diners and seemingly no awareness that this was wrong or annoying. The restaurant itself is small but not intimate, that is, no mood or ambiance. The food was average at best, not a diverse selection and seasoned poorly even for Iceland , where i found most food under seasoned. The only reason I could see to go to this restaurant would be for the view. Average at best for a premium cost.

We had to ask for our bill after waiting for 20 minutes after finishing our coffee. Our waitress vanished during this time.

The place and enviroment was nice. Bit the menu and the information the waiter gave was wrong. Se got different food than we ordered. So I would not rekomend this place.

Very reasonably priced. All food and drinks we ordered were so tasty and well prepared/presented. The view is spectacular! Friendly wait staff.

Restaurant in einem unauffälligem Gebäude und in einem eher überschaubaren Raum mit guter Aussicht und ordentlicher Küche mit zuvorkommendem Service, der Besuch lohnte sich.

Wonderful view, great food, friendly service. Highly recommended. It is especially nice if you are seeing a concert at Harpa. It is just across the street from the concert hall.
