   Venue is spectacular. Service is impeccable. Food is outstanding. Great for a special event. However, having to pay for bread and butter and no coffee refills seems petty at a restaurant of this quality.

   we had a lovely dining experience at Skyrim last night to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We had not been there since the closing prior to the remodel. We were delighted in the changes and the food was very, very good. Our service was quite good and we definitely would go back a little hard getting a reservation though.

   Beautiful place with great views! Service was exceptional but the food was not good and it was very expensive. The food is not worth the price.

   Welcome back Skyroom. My wife ( #ghoulatheart )and I calculated during our dinner that it had been 20 years since our first and only meal at the Skyroom. It took me 3 month to get a Saturday dinner reservation, but it was worth the wait. The renovated Fairmont Breaker is a beautiful property. We arrived just before 5 so we could have some cocktails in the lobby bar before heading up to the restaurant. We had a table for two next to the window overlooking the long beach marina and enjoyed my wife’s company while watching the sunset. We had the parker house dinner rolls, roasted sun-choke and black truffle, (pleasant surprise to see the chef de cuisine Maxwell at our table shaving the black truffles), roasted beet salad and Dungeness crab cake, cripsy maitake mushroom, iberian pork presa with grilled broccoli and roasted brussels sprouts and two bottles of Opolo cab to wash it all down. Delicious, no wait, DELICIOUS! All in all, it was a great meal with great service and a welcoming atmosphere. I should note that it is $$$ so put in a few extra hours of OT. Make your reservation now, dress up, and give yourself a great experience. Oh and don’t forget to go to the roof top bar to cap off your evening. Until next time Skyroom.

   We excellent service from the moment we came. Wait staff was very attentive and kind. We only ordered appetizers but they were excellent. Portions are small for the price, but that is kind of expected for these types of places. We ordered the margarita and it was phenomenal. We came in to celebrate our anniversary, and they even provided a free dessert to us which was not only a kind gesture, but was incredible! The restaurant and hotel itself are also beautiful and the restaurant hosts great views of the city. Definitely recommend this place for a splurge, a special occasion, or business dinner.

   Made a reservation for my husbands birthday and had a great dinner. The SkyRoom is beautiful as well as the Halo bar located on the rooftop. This is a must go to location for the ambience and view of Long Beach.

    There are not too many times that I would leave a review, however this experience was worth mentioning. We were very excited to visit and see the results of the “new” sky room after major renovations. It did not disappoint (other than it was raining and having a coat closet would have been nice). From our check in to our pre dinner drinks at the bar, the staff were amazing!! The bartender Jenna not only made great drinks, she counseled us on the types of liquor and even provided a small sample of a drink we considered. Our server, Clairissa was fun, helpful and competent. What was amazing was the manager, Courtney came over to apologize for an error in the kitchen which delayed our lamb dinner. We mentioned to Clairissa that she has stopped by and she immediately owned the error and apologized. What a wonderful work environment where people can make mistake, not be ratted out by mgmt and feel safe to accept responsibility to the customer. It was not necessary but we appreciated the over the top accommodations for the delay. Thank you John Molina for creating as master piece of a business and building as as topping it off with an amazing team of professionals. You made my birthday a wonderful celebration!
