    Food was good. Service weak. We were told that we had to take a table downstairs, and even there, it had to be in a side room by a cash register. Eventually the gave us a table not by the register not them said we needed to leave in 90 minutes , which was not a condition when we booked over a week earlier. We were then rushed through our courses. The floor manager kept walking a round with her ipad checking that nobody was outstaying their welcome. Altogether an unpleasant environment.

    Excellent experience overall. Our waiter was fantastic- elder gentlemen with flair and impeccable manners. Food was good and ambience was perfect. I ve returned for the 3rd time in the last 2 years.

    Great all around. Steaks were cooked perfectly. We both selected the Irish filet. Sides of mashed potatoes were also excellent. Service was impeccable. We recently discovered this gem after being somewhat disappointed with Hawksmore. S&W is now our go to for steak dinners,

    Had an amazing mea with 3 friends. Food and service (Roberto) were first class. It's a bit pricey, but it's a premium place in central London. The steaks!!! Wow!!!

    Everything was great except they screwed up my booking and gave it to someone else which was unfortunate. We had to wait for 15 minutes for them to sort out another table. Not a good start.
