   A wet and windy day but a lovely warm welcome and excellent food as always. We chose from the winter menu (three courses £30) and the food was just as good as the main menu. We will be back in January!

   excellent food and good value. We shared a platter for two to celebrate my partners 80th birthday. Was our first visit but will certainly not be the last.

   This was the first time we had eaten at the Smoking Lobster and we really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared and cooked. The sea bass was probably the best piece of fish I have ever eaten in a restaurant not just due to the quality of the food but to how expertly it was cook to absolute perfection.

   Amazing but very expensive food served in a simple cafe environment on the seafront. This is top central London prices with excellent quality food. Reconciling the prices with the seaside cafe environment and experience was challenging!

   Our second visit. So impressed first time we had to go again to check our memory was not deceiving us. Food and service simply astounding. We shall not forget it. Quite a small restaurant so quite noisy when crowded as it was last night.

   Excellent meal all round but sharing the sea food platter meant that the lobster was cold by the time we got to it!
