   Food was absolutely terrible 😞 greasy chicken that was more like a bad takeaway parmo than a schnitzel, horrible dressing on the salad with sad fennel on the turn, sickly creamed corn. Service was good, place looked nice, but sadly the food was grim. Avoid.

   Fab menu £15 for 2 course or £20 for 3 courses Service was perfect attentive but not intrusive Food v tasty Lovely choice of gin. Was quiet but the restaurant is beautiful place to sit Will go again

   Went during restaurant week and looked forward to trying a new place. food was mid - pretty flavourless chicken without the addition of paid for sauces. After our main, we waited over an hour to be seen with no luck. we were the only people in the restaurant. Staff were too busy stood around the bar chatting and no one came to check on us to take extra drink orders or ask if we wanted dessert/the bill. We had to approach the staff to ask them to bring us the bill despite several attempts to wave them down. The service charge was removed, but there was little apology from the staff who remained behind the bar giggling that we had to come ask them for help. Wont be frequenting the restaurant again.

   Naja, das Essen passte jetzt nicht zum Restaurant und ich hatte nach den Bewertung mehr erwartet. Die Rosti sollte man nicht nehmen, wenn sie aus Deutschland kennt, dann ist man nur enttäuscht.

   Needed somewhere to work whilst staying in Newcastle between Christmas and New Year and this was the perfect place. It’s the restaurant of a nice hotel and the service was great. Lovely couple of pastries that I offered on arrival, choice of plenty of tables all with power supply and good WiFi. Upgraded to the burger menu as I was recommended and it was great. Noise level was low but took a few work calls without feeling like I was talking to everyone in the place as just enough background noise.

    Food is really tasty and really enjoyed what I ate. Menu all looked terrific. Had booked a table but I was left standing alone at the front desk for ten minutes waiting for a server to come and seat me. Multiple times they walked past and I even said to one can you seat me please I have a booking. She looked like a rabbit in the headlights. The young servers did work hard but also floated around a bit not focused on customers who were often trying to catch their attention Wine was extortionate for a glass. Nice decor but lacked any kind of ambiance. Lots of inappropriate language heard from the open kitchen.
