   It was fine. The food was pretty mediocre. Service was fine and ambiance was what I expected. Decor was fun. I wouldn't object to going again but wouldn't choose it on my own.

   Got there an hour early to our reservation and had 2 drinks at the bar and a snack, some edamame to start.Both were drinks and the app were delicious and honestly set the bar very high on the evening. We then got our table and order two more drinks and some food. We ordered Two sushi rolls, they were good at best. Honestly for the same or cheaper price I can go to Little Tokyo in Castle Shannon and have better, tighter, more filling rolls. We ordered the pork belly robata, I believe. And this tasted lame. I first think, but couldn't see well enough but it felt like it was undercooked. It definitely needed more love from the fire to get some crispy bits, but also had no flavor. I was dipping it in soy sauce for a little more punch. After those three things we weren't too impressed to have more, but we did try the raspberry mango torte they have, and this was amazing. I'm getting married in September and this was the flavor combo we picked for our cake and damn, I made a good call. Dinner ended on a high note. Only thing and I don't know if it's related or not, but that night. My girl did get really sick for several hours. She said it was from a headache.

   We love the decor and ambiance plus the location in the theatre district is perfect. Usually everything is great but there were out of a few items this time and it kinda ruined things for us. We have been there enough times to have favorites and they were out of the tempora ki king broccoli appetizer AND the fortune cookie dessert. We brought out of town guests for dinner and had talked up the food but were very let down with the offerings. Last time we went, our friend asked for hot saki and they were out of what he wanted that night too. Starting to think this place has a supply chain problem….

   My cousins and I went to celebrate my cousins birthday. The ambiance was very nice, low lighting, and japanese decorations. The restaurant is set up with 3 different kitchens: sushi bar, robata, and robata grill. Since different items are made in different kitchens food comes out when it is ready, not at one time. The server informed us that each meal is designed to be family style. However, the servings did not meet that expectation. Our server gave us a lay down of the menu and was very informative of some of the restaurants favorites. We ordered a california roll, pad thai, korean ribs, and korean fried chicken. The food was very flavorful, seasoned, and tasted fresh. We all agreed our favorite was the korean ribs. Overall the experience was great, but the portions are not big enough for family style.

   While it was NYE and I try to understand a busy night, we were seated 45 min after our resy (and 5 other tables walked in and got seated) so we were unable to order sushi. When the food was ordered it came out ice cold. Hoping to try them again in the future on a less busy night!

   The worst new year’s experience! First time dining and the manager could not figure how to use the gift card I purchased straight from Social House 7 restaurant company website. It took 35 minutes for the administration to get a clue on how to deliver customer service for first time diners. The manager was wearing a suit and was dressed for the “part of manager” but was NOT dressed for the functionality of being a manager of a restaurant! I will never dine at Social House again.

    The directions to the restaurant on this app are NOT correct! They take you to an obscure neighborhood on the outskirts of Pittsburgh. The food was ok, but the fantastic service made up for it
