   Hi Stephanie, We apologize that we weren't what was expected from photos online. Our brunch can be quite a scene but we can promise that our weekday service is generally more spacious and on the quieter side, especially for Dinner. Also, this is our busiest season which means that the dining room is generally more full and we can understand that this could be frustrating especially given that some of our photos online are from our slower season. We wish that you would give us another chance but understand that there are a lot of restaurants in New York that you may prefer to try out. Thank you for your feedback, we know that you took time out of your schedule and we appreciate it.

   Food was good, ambience very good. Very pretty decorations. Would recommend for drinks but maybe not a weekend dinner considering how many are in the area .

If you have a moment to share with us what about your experience could have been improved upon we would really appreciate the feedback. We work with local farms, take extra effort to source from smaller vendors, and we'd hate to think we aren't doing our best by these ingredients!    I have visited this place many times over the years but unfortunately though the ambiance and the food is still very good, I was irritated by how the service staff member cleared my plate of food before I was finished all the bites on my plate. I felt like this needs to be improved a bit.

   The dishes were very unique and unusual, but we don’t mind adventure! The pizza was great. The only complaint is: it’s just too dark! Ambience is nice, but this place is almost dangerous!

   Had a good Thanksgiving dinner at Society Cafe. Beautiful, atmospheric space evocative of the 1920s. Food was very good. The experience was nice and would have been perfect except for a few mistakes, i.e., not bringing the side dishes we ordered until we were done, at which point we no longer wanted them. I’d still rate it highly and would go back.

   A lovely little restaurant set at the back of a hotel. A great little neighbourhood gem. Our booking was for breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Service was seat at the right pace . Food was well presented and excellent. The fruit cocktail was gorgeous. The cooked breakfasts were delicious. Thoroughly recommended.

    We have been there several times and this time it felt different. The waiters were not as nice and attentive as other times and we felt rushed. Maybe it was because they had a large table afterwards. Also, the orange juice was dreadful.

We will make sure to bring it to their attention that this was something out of character that was noticed by returning guests. We appreciate you specifically mentioning the Orange Juice and will look into it right away. We do juice oranges here so hopefully it was just a small batch of oranges that weren't up to par, but this time of year we can never be too vigilant.
