    Ni vin, ni bière, le sake, à base de riz, est un breuvage historique du Japon. Son histoire est riche, ses modes de production sont uniques, et il se decline en de très nombreux styles. Ce qu’on aime encore plus? Il est absolument délicieux à table! Nous avons demandé à notre sous-chef Rikuo Kameda de nous concocter un menu aux saveurs de son pays d’origine, pour explorer et célébrer le sake. Une soirée délicieuse de découverte qui se déclinera en un repas 5 services, accompagné de 4 sakés. -------- Neither wine nor beer, rice-based sake is a historical Japanese beverage. It has a rich history, its production methods are unique, and it exists in many different styles. Best of all? It is delicious with food! We have asked our sous-chef, Rikuo Kameda, to elaborate a menu inspired by his Japanese roots, to explore and celebrate sake. A delicious evening of discovery, around a 5-course meal with 4 sakes.

    Soif, c’est plus qu’un verre de vin. C’est une expérience gustative pour les papilles! La combinaison Tapas ( plats à partager et déguster) & vins à découvrir par le service agréable et instructif! On y amène tous nos amis de l’extérieur de la région de l’Outaouais. Ils sont charmés et jaloux qu’on ait cet endroit chez nous!

    Lovely experience. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. Ordered 3 dishes and they were all excellent. They do actually recommend wines based on what you ordered and let you sample a little before making your choice. We loved the selection our server offered us and the price was reasonable.

    Très belle soirée, un super service par contre petit bémol sur l’ambiance musicale et le volume très faible de celui-ci ainsi que le fameux Aligot. Attention une purée n’est pas un Aligot Pour le reste rien à dire

    I usually love the food but this time around it was only ok. I had the Brussel sprouts and the halibut. Brussel sprouts while good were a bit over cooked and all fell apart, so mostly a plate of leaves. The halibut was a little fishy…I know how that sounds lol but this is my fav fish and usually does not have that fishy taste. I’ll likely return, just maybe not soon.

    Pour une 3ième visite depuis plusieurs années (nous venons dans la région spécialement pour ce restaurant), cette année sera notre dernière. Qualité du service, parfait, toujours bien reçue. Les connaissances en vin sont remarquables et leur souririre attachant. La carte de vin est toujours fabuleuse, par contre le prix est du moins très cher pour un verre 4 onces de vin au verre. Le plus grand problème fût la nourriture….des portions extrêmement petites (4 nouilles totales de papardelles pour 16$, un flétan qui se mange en 3 bouchées pour 22$ et une assiette de betteraves salées comme la mer). Nous sommes restés sur notre faim, c’est la première fois que ça nous arrive….nous sommes retournés à l’hôtel manger une entrée. Nous sommes dans le domaine de la restauration et nous comprenons tout à fait le coût des aliments et l’inflation, mais une adaptation de la portion pour le prix serait à revoir.
