Hadn’t been to the restaurant in 4 months but felt like it was only weeks as soon as we received food it was apparent it is top notch food & seemed so familiar highly recommend a visit

Oysters were outstanding and the mussels were delicious. Tiny scallops for a €3 supplement was a bit excessive, but they were delicious. Monkfish and chorizo was really lovely, but the fish and chips were very oily and heavy. Batter was definitely not light and crispy. Exceptionally long time between starters and main courses, with no explanation. Overall it was OK, but I doubt we'll be back.

Although I did enjoy my dinner with friends at the time, the following experience was absolutely horrible for me. I am celiac/gluten intollerant, which I informed the restaurant about when booking and when ordering, I checked their list of allergens and spoke to the waitors repeating my limitation, and I still got glutened. I don't know when and what was affected, but my symptoms afterwards were absolutely horrible.

The food overall was excellent. The monkfish on the skewer was dry as a main course. All others courses were very good. All the appetizers (scallops/crab claws and salmon) were excellent.

Everything g was perfect from the moment we walked into the restaurant, staff were lovely and attentive, food was lovely, noise levels were perfect, a lovely setting, couldn’t fault anything at all.

It was cold. We didn’t get the same table as we wanted. It’s too expensive for Dublin and food is just average.

I have been here a good few times usually it is great food and great service - this time the food wasn’t as good as usual I had scallops to start and the halibut for mains with cheese board dessert - would score the starter 5/10 the mains 8/10 the dessert 4/10 and the service was the worst to date there was minimal attention and more than once I needed to ask for my wine to be topped up - the bar service and cocktails were great as usual

First time at Sole. The food was outstanding and the service was incredibly friendly to accommodate our needs with a newborn. We will definitely come again!
