   It was an amazing experience. The environment was incredibly welcoming and the service was great. Harrison was the best server. We had the lamb, roasted chicken, collard green lasagna, and the chicken sliders with caviar and truffle fries. Everything we ordered was great and prepared to perfection. We already have a reservation scheduled for the end of March.

   I felt like I stepped into New Orleans. The Jazz band was incredible. THAT LAMB⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   My family and I went to Somerville on Saturday, Jan 5th and we had an amazing experience. Our server was Hassan and he was very knowledgeable, helpful and had an amazing personality. He joked around with us which made our experience not only enjoyable but real! We began our evening with adult beverages( Love Supreme, Nature Boy, Dunbar and a Golden Age) I am extremely picky about my drink and will send it back in a heartbeat if its not right. No problem here. Mine was the Love Supreme and it was perfect! Everyone was happy with their selection and they were not shy with the amount of liquor that was added. For dinner, we ordered the Parker Rolls, Oysters, Collard Greens Lasagna, Brussel Sprouts, Mary's Organic Roasted Chicken, Chicory Crab Salad, and Somerville Burgers. I sampled everything, but the unanimous favorites were the Parker Rolls and the Collard Greens Lasagna. Be prepared for a 20% tip to automatically be included ( we were a party of 4) I didn't mind this because the service was superb and I would have tipped 20% anyway. We will be back for sure!

   I really enjoyed my experience at Somerville. Because this is a new restaurant, I had to make a reservation a month in advance and it seems like that is still the case today. They may take walk-in reservations though. The food was extremely good. I ended up getting the sea bass, brussel sprouts, dark chocolate gelato and the mac and cheese (which could be baked a lil longer to make it better). It is not that loud in the restaurant especially since there is a live band performing too. I look forward to making another reservation in the future.

   Myself and my Bestie came here for the first time 1/4/25. I saw a lot of great reviews and decided to try. We made a reservation for 6pm we arrived at the restaurant at 6:15 and waited about 10-15 minutes before we were seated. Not too long. Once we walked in the ambiance reminded me of a Harlem nights modern like lounge. They played jazz music with a live band which is awesome. I have always wanted to go to a place that played live music. The vibe is definitely grown and sexy! The seating and layout I loved. The lighting was so romantic lol. The food, I order the Mary organic chicken - disclaimer: I am not a white meat lover I love the dark meat but when I tell you the chicken was juicy and tender so flavorful omg. The Brussel sprouts were fi fi fi fire lol! So good chefs kiss on those bad boys. My bestie order the Bass with squash which was the first time they were serving it, apparently it was not on the menu. Delicious the sauce for the fish was delicious savory with a bit of sweet. We also ordered the Mac and cheese and that was a little disappointing, it did not have any flavor/seasoning and it was dry. Not gone lie. Sorry! But yea lol. We also had the Heyday cocktail which is like a side car, that was delicious as well. Customer service from our waiter I want to say his name is Hassan! Great customer service, attentive and very nice over all. I would have to give this places. 8/10 I would have given 10/10 if the Mac and cheese was better.

   The space and vibe are beautiful. Will definitely return again and again. So happy to have this place in our neighborhood! Only complaint would be that the Black Goddess Salad was extremely boring and bland and that the overhead music was too loud. The live jazz was perfect though.

   We had late reservation (9:45 and they close at 10pm the weekdays) so half the menu was sold out including most of the food we had planned to order. The fried chicken & caviar sliders were a hit. Vibe and ambience was on point. I’ll give them another chance with an earlier reservation so we can actually taste more of the popular food items 🤗

   Upon dining at the restaurant, the waiter informed us the venue had run out of Mac-n-cheese, buttered rolls and their collard greens lasagna. Of course all of these items were things we wanted to try, so we had to find other options to eat. After placing our order, the waiter returned and informed us they were able to locate 2 additional serving of the collard greens lasagna. We were able to try the lasagna after all, however were not able to try the buttered rolls nor the macaroni and cheese. All in all, the food we tried was good (lasagna, butternut risotto, Brussels sprouts, mashed potato/ gravy and truffled fries). However, running out of items within 2 hrs of being open is a tad bit egregious in my opinion. Hopefully the restaurant gets better over time :-) (which I’m sure they will)

    I love that we have a space like this in our community now! The vibes are amazing and the interior is really beautiful. I will say that it is very noisy so it's hard to hear the person sitting next to you at times. Also the hostess seemed very confused and lost on seating arrangements and addressing the proper parties for seating. We had to wait 15 min past our reservation to be seated even though our entire party was present at the time of the reservation. Great potential but definitely may need a bit more time to work out the kinks.
