Sommo is traditional Japanese cuisine... but with a twist. We embrace our local resources and blend Japanese heritage with Mexico's tropical ingredients to offer a culinary experience of the highest quality. Our focus is on creating human experiences—where you feel our home as your own.

Two of the most recommended experiences are the seatings at the Chef's counter and the Bar, perfect for groups of 2 or 3 people max. In either setting, you'll get up close and personal: see our gestures, and take in our aromas.

    El lugar es precioso, pedimos una mesa en la barra del chef para ver cómo preparaban los alimentos y fue espectacular verlos trabajar, es un arte lo que hacen. Felicidades a los chefs. Recomiendo los nigiris (variados) y el tiradito de kampachi. Las bebidas con clara de huevo son muy ricas. Como punto a mejorar está el servicio, inició perfecto pero como se llena mucho, llega un tiempo que dejan de estar pendientes, los meseros corren como locos y tardan mucho en reponer bebidas. En mi caso esperé media hora para que me trajeran mi segundo trago. Pedimos la cuenta e igual tardaron muchísimo, no es culpa de los meseros sino de la organización del lugar. Demasiadas mesas, no se dan abasto. ¿Volvería? Seguramente sí, pero un día más relajado.

    El personal se esforzó por dar una buena velada, sin embargo, no hubo luz buena parte de la noche, cenamos con velas, la comandas un poco complicadas por lo mismo y sin música

    We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We did show up with an extra diner and they were very nice and accommodating. The salmon tostada may have been my favorite item but everything was delicious

    Hip and sexy vibe for Japanese food. Price point was a tad high but overall a good spot if you’re in town for several nights and want sushi.
