   First off I would like to say they were very nice. However, I had to send the food back because the pork chop was not done enough and when they brought it back it was fried too hard. At this point I’m like I will just eat it. My friend ordered pot roast with grits I believe but it was extremely greasy. They were very nice about taking it back but she didn’t want anything else after that, the collard green deep was awesome and so was the fried green tomatoes. I would definitely go back everybody have a bad day.

   I had a great time. We were greeted when we arrived and escorted to our table. The vibe, lighting, music and energy was great. The food was fresh and flavorful. Drinks were pretty good. Servers were patient and helped in decision making(we dine in slowly). I normally give a cash tip to servers but gratuity was included.

   The food was excellent. However, there seem to be no rhyme or reason to the way the food was brought to the table. Our dishes were straight forward. The person who ordered plain catfish didn't get their food until everyone else was almost done eating. It was if they forgot the order, and offered no complimentary lemonade refill. The server was a little nonchalant about not serving certain dishes on Sunday. I was also surprised that they didn't serve Coffee on Sundays.

   This place is exceptional. The food was better than we could have imagined. The service was equally as amazing and the music will have you singing and dancing between delicious bites. YOU MUST order the collard greens dip. We ordered 2 unbaked to take home because it’s that great. There were 2 in our party and we ordered 3 entrees and we are so happy that we did. We ordered the catfish and grits, short rib bowl and chicken and waffles, fried green tomatoes and the collard green dip. All of it was amazing. If you can’t get a reservation order in because it’s just that great. We will definitely return.

   My fiancé & I called ahead to let them know we’d be late for our reservation. They still took us, but let us know it would cut into our 90 minute limit. I appreciated their flexibility. However, it took awhile for them to seat us still. I was so excited to try this place, but they ran out of the main things we really wanted. We started with the green dip for an appetizer. It took about 20 minutes to come out, but it was pretty good, just a little greasy. I would’ve preferred more dip & less cheese also. Apparently someone went out & got more chicken so my fiancé was able to get the baked chicken. I was confused on this because they said someone just came back with the chicken so it’d be a short wait, but the menu said the chicken was slow cooked for 4 hours. I got the honey hot chicken, which was decent. My fiancé enjoyed his baked chicken. We didn’t even bother with drinks because one of the tables near us complained that they’d been waiting over 30 minutes to get theirs. Our server dropped our food & never checked back in with us. Overall, the food was good but I wouldn’t return.

    My first visit. Customer service was amazing. Thank you Unique and our server. Food was good but the greens were a little salty for my taste. Portion sizes were decent and drinks were very good. A little pricey for what we had (chicken and fish), however, I’m a firm believer in charging what you believe you’re worth. Would definitely return and support.
