   Read about poor service but was perfectly fine on my visit. Food would have scored higher if it had been warmer and the skepasti didn’t have enough chicken in it so reduced value for money. It was lunch time I went so ambience might be better in the evening when it’s busier

   A very small and expensive plate of dried up Moussaka! Staff were inattentive and when I mentioned the poor quality of the main course, he just shrugged his shoulders.

   We went here (visitors to Edinburgh) as we like Greek food but it was a bit disappointing to be honest. The food was ok, we had gone in earlier in the day to book a table to be told we had to do it online, no they couldn't just take our name and reserve a table. I was kind of expecting something a little bit more special, it's ok for an everyday meal but I wouldn't go there for a celebration.

   Lamb chops very poor quality meat. Hard, chewy. Accompanying potatoes cold. Very small portion of moussaka. When mentioned to staff, was met with complete indifference. I suppose I should have see the warning red flag when I realised it was the only quiet restaurant on a very busy Edinburgh Fringe evening.

    Service was very slow, apparently they were having some technical difficulties with both payment systems and with getting orders back to the kitchen. As a result our party of six did not get a beverage for 30 minutes and any food for 45 minutes. When it did come, it came all at once, salad, apps and entrees. My meal was ok at best, although I’ll concede the rest of my party may have ranked the quality of food higher than I have.
