This was our first visit to this new restaurant. We were immediately struck by the very attractive interior ambiance. Very classy. Our server was very friendly and attentive throughout the entire meal. The menu was expansive and interesting. Our appetizers and entrees came out promptly and met all expectations. This is not an inexpensive restaurant but we would certainly return.

Setted promptly, waitstaff was fantastic. Wonderful atmosphere. Fabulous drinks Yummy bread. All down hill after that. Ordered corn crab bisque that was a broth base with a splash of cream. Bothe orders wage steak nice and tender but absolutely no flavor. Onion straws were good but rosemary fries were just fries with an aioli to dip in Desert was blah. Not up to par with upscale steak place. Not at all worth the $220 price tag

Waiter was great but the food was not. The best thing we had was the Cesar Salad. They say they give the steaks a charred finish but there is a difference between char and burnt. Someone in our party got pork chops that were burnt on the one side so instead of re-preparing them correctly they tried to bake the pork chops instead which when cut into was raw in the middle. Steaks were incredibly bland, lobster in the risotto side was overcooked and rubbery. Desserts were good, the chocolate mousse and apple cake were very good. If it was a cafe that sold salads and desserts they’d be a hit but as an expensive steakhouse I don’t see them lasting the year.

We happened to go on a Sunday evening and it was not busy at all. The food quality was quite good, most of us had steaks which were cooked to perfect temperatures. The fireplace was broken which would have added to the ambiance. We asked them to dim the lights a bit which improved the feeling of the room. They also turned up the heat which made it more enjoyable. The staff was responsive and friendly...overall a very good experience for our first visit.

Apparently they are still working out procedures. One meal was delivered and three were not ready. Sent back the one prime rib which became lukewarm. There was no bread one a Saturday night at 7:30. We will try again in the spring.

Food was average for an expensive steakhouse (45 and 53$) for filet. Steak was warm at best and overcooked.. waited 45 min after ordering to get our food.. prob will not go again

We loved everything about Speers. They have a fabulous wine list. Great appetizers, food, and drink. Our waitress Jenny was great. We will definitely be back!
