   Fabulous quality Sunday Roast. The beery crumble dessert was delicious too. Great valye too. Why cook!

   Food great as usual, staff friendly and helpful. It was a bit cold in the pub but maybe because there was hardly anyone else in so not their fault. It’s the 3rd time we have been for Sunday lunch and will definitely go again.

   A lovely pub with a warm welcome including your dog. Nice food and atmosphere. If you go on A Thursday, like we did, you can join the quiz at 8pm, it’s a good laugh. Come down and and enjoy a night out with the family.

   Was the addition quiz night really necessary, the pub was really busy anyway?

   Lovely roast dinner, staff were great and the pub plays good music. Only negative was that the table was a bit small for 4 people but we managed fine so not much of an issue. Overall we were very happy and will visit again.

   Food is Ok.. not as good as it used to be. Disappointed at the lack of draft bitter. Service is good. We will return as I like the pub.

    Unfortunately things have gone down hill. No service to speak of, people on phones behind bar when waiting to be served. No ales on at all. Food wasn’t hot enough and had about 6 chips each. We were the only table in there at the time so you’d think it would be easy to please us. Staff members kept going into the garden and leaving the door wide open so we were cold. Such a shame.
