   Unfortunately there was few choice among the main courses (there were only 1fish, 1meat and 1veg), while there was a long list of desserts (unnecessary in my opinion). Tastes of the ingredients of the dishes were hidden behind a lot of soury sauces and creams like mustard. As many restaurants do, including the charity donation is not a good practice, as if the client does not check the bill, you charge a cost without him knowing (could be proposed at the time of payment, but must not be included already in my bill). They did not change our cutlery, which is not to be expected by a restaurant where you pay 150£ in two people. I heard many beautiful things but I personally will not go back.

   The best restaurant in Marylebone, small regularly changing menu, everything we ordered was amazing and very tasty. They have small / medium / large plates. I come here twice a month now and it has always maintained its quality, cannot fault.

   Very good food, most of the daily specials not available by the time we ordered but what we ate was top level, good wine list, well guided by the wait staff; desserts all very good. Spent £100/head.

   Incredible experience. Harry was the perfect server navigating us through the menu and had great recommendations. Food and wine were phenomenal.

   St John has long been recommended by our daughter and yesterday we finally got to take her and her partner with us! What a wonderful surprise it was! Sublime food, wonderful patient service and a truly lovely ambience. We will go again - your ‘puddings’ are to die for!

   Everything we ordered was delicious from the green salad to the pudding. exceptional venison- pink and tender - perfect cooking. Puts everywhere else in the shade.

   Great service! A bit pricy but very enjoyable. I The cafe -like experience of sitting upstairs was great too. I chose an unusual pairing of delicious mackerel with crème frais followed by roast pork

   Overall average, several courses arrived cold, the duck was so rare it burst when cut into and flooded the plate with blood, even the steak knife struggled. 2 courses were forgotten from the order. The only thing this restaurant shares with its more famous big sister is the price levels. If you are spending the money go to the proper one.

    Absolutely delightful Sunday evening in St John. Rabbit was the culinary highlight, but Alice & the team provided kind & confident service
