   Overall, everything was fantastic. The Wienerschnitzel was superb and the pecan balls. Dessert was delicious. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

   State of Grace was recommended by a friend that loves all of the chef's restaurants. Every aspect of our dining experience was top notch. The entrance is shut off from the restaurant so you don't have a breeze coming through or street noise filtering into the dining room. While the décor wasn't my personal style, it was so beautifully done that I couldn't help but admire it. No detail was left behind, but it was far from overboard. Even the portfolio the bill came in was thoughtful. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable, not just on their menu, but on the wines offered. She made an excellent recommendation that worked for the wine and non-wine fans, she provided detail on the menu and was overall just an absolute delight. From the freshly chopped salad to the crab cake beignets to my filet mignon. The flavor of the filet mignon was incredible, the crispy eggplant had a little zip and the fries - the FRIES! If you check my bio, you will see that I know my fries. When the server told us how they were prepared, we HAD to get them. Absolutely everything was on point. With the price point, I would have to limit my visits to special occasions, but I will tell you it was worth the money.

   The french fries (pomme frites) were the best I've ever had. Thought they were thick cut, they were incredibly light on the inside and crisp on the outside....simply amazing Deviled eggs were really good Went for brunch and the egg dish called ____ Shashuka was excellent as well Carajillo was top notch Service is always excellent

   One of my favorite restaurants in Houston ! everything is amazing, but I particularly love the salad with beets and the pecan ball

   Our servers screwed up three times in total. No Oscar on the side, no extra limes, and no new bread loaf. Also, why is there no changing table in the family bathroom? We had to change our daughter’s diaper on the floor. We have a mat we carry in her backpack, but we still had to place it on the floor. Unsatisfactory.

   Amazing dining experience from check in until we left. I think we caught them at a slower time, so we were really able to enjoy ourselves.

    I don’t know how I have never eaten there but I am so glad I decided to try this place. Environment is warm. The service was attentive. The food was delicious. Just go.
