   The food was delicious. Our server was attentive and timely. The biggest disappointment about Status is how it’s advertised as upscale online and how cheap it actually looks in person. The DJ was wack. He couldn’t blend the music when transitioning between songs. They have mocktails and real not cocktails. After we ate our appetizers and drank our mocktails, we decided it wasn’t worth the rest of our evening sitting on that hard bench in the booth. We left and went to another bar around the corner and had a ball.

   Very nice place. Very good service. Great presentation. Large portions. Should have checked the bill. Can’t figure out how the total was so high but we were presented only the card reader. No actual bill. Oxtails would have been perfect however there was barbeque sauce in the gravy. Very unexpected. I would go again but would try another dish and ask for a printed bill.

   This restaurant charges liquor prices for drinks and they don’t have liquor license to sell liquor. Crazy

   The food what immaculate. The service was really slow but the waitress was really nice and did her best.

   You should remove them number one. They have no window so they leave the door open. They have no liquor license. The meals are overpriced. We had fish soup. It was Bronzino. It was supposed to be garlic butter, but there were peppers in it and a sea of some type of liquid we told Waitress we didn’t like it. They didn’t take any money off. We were there for 34 minutes in and out the door, we hated every single minute they should not be allowed to be on your service.

   We had the oxtail dinner, and we added Plaintain and jerk chicken. Those were the BEST oxtails I've ever had in my life! They were cooked to perfection and not oily at all. So tender that the meat came off just by using the fork. Oh, and the oxtail gravy.. OH MY GAWD! The gravy was dark, thick, and rich with just a hint of heat. We loved the plantain as well. They were light and sweet and not oily. We also enjoyed the jerk chicken and the sweet and spicy sauce that cooked with it. I would definitely recommend this place. As a matter of fact, I'm taking my cousin here for dinner next week.

   Food was fresh and delicious! The restaurant plays music so it’s also a nice vibe and the staff was nice. Just wish they had a nice cocktail to go with the food and vibe but either way, I’ll definitely be back.

    A Memorable Dining Experience at Status Hollywood I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Status Hollywood today, and I cannot say enough about how incredible the experience was. Chef John and Alisa truly outdid themselves, creating a dining experience that was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment the plates arrived, each dish was a masterpiece. The oxtail sliders, goat curry, jerk chicken, and lamb chops were all exquisite—each bite was full of flavor, cooked to perfection, and simply delightful. The sides, from the rice to the cabbage, were equally amazing, complementing the dishes beautifully. Even the strawberry lemonade was a standout—it was refreshing and perfectly balanced. The ambiance of Status Hollywood added so much to the experience. The music set the perfect tone, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was warm and inviting. Everything about this place exudes excellence. I can’t wait to come back, try more dishes, and share this gem with friends.
