   Booked for 8:45 and so did another 40 couples so everybody had to wait a lifetime before being seated. Paid £40 in advanced so they set us all up from the start. They double booked every table. The food came cold and the time between the first dish and second was 30 minutes. Our drinks came 1 and half hours after asking for them on 4 separate occasions. Severely understaffed. No discount for the inconveniences. Terrible terrible experience and will not ever return to this establishment.

   They had overbooked for Valentine’s Day. So when we got there, there was an already a big crowd of people waiting to get in who had booked. Because they had made us pay a deposit we could not realistically go anywhere else. We eventually got a seat in a fairly crammed area ( we were the lucky ones as many had to sit at the windows). Food was ok but as we had to wait so long we had lost our appetite. The Kingston branch isn’t as nice as the Wimbledon one which I much prefer. Basically their greed by overbooking and lack of waiting staff and control at the front made it fairly unpleasant experience for most people that evening

   They overbooked the restaurant, leading to us waiting almost 30 minutes to be seated. We were not acknowledged on arrival. Our starters came out cold - many others near us experienced the same issue. We could see prepared sushi was sitting on the counter waiting to be served. Some were sitting as long as 20 minutes. You would be better off going to the Wimbledon branch.

   Very nice high end sushi chain. Kingston is my local branch however I have also been to their branches in Berlin, Wimbledon, Richmond and soho. All of their restaurants are identical in quality. Overall food is very good but slightly overpriced.

   I'd made a booking for 20:00 online. When we arrived, we stood by the front desk for about 5mins before we were eventually greeted by the manager (bald-headed white guy). I told him we had a booking, but it was 19:48, so he said we'd need to wait until 20:00. Fine. It got to 20:15 and he'd said nothing to us, and yet 2 couples after us (1 had a booking for 20:00 and 1 had no booking at all) were shown to their seats in that time. I went up to him and asked what the status was, and he then showed us to our seats upstairs. We also noted that 1 of the couples who'd been allowed to push in before us (with the same booking time) were given a nice table downstairs with much better ambience than upstairs. Very poor service.

   Delicious menu and friendly staff! We celebrated my daughter’s birthday there and will be definitely going back.great addition to the Kingston high street and area.

    Never disappointed with Sticks n Sushi Kingston. Service is fabulous, the team go above and beyond and even made my friend a cocktail from last years drinks menu. Have my go to starter's but will always try something new as well. If you have their App you can accumulate points/ money off aswell ❤️
