STK artfully blends two concepts into one—the modern steakhouse and a chic lounge. A large central lounge area is furnished with creamy leather banquettes and textured crocodile tiles, and is surrounded by an elevated dining room for more formal dining. Theatrical lights illuminate each table, while a DJ creates an energetic vibe throughout the entire space. STK Midtown is located in Midtown Manhattan, just steps from the bustling Theatre District. STK Midtown includes an outdoor patio and separate bar during summer months. As anticipated, steak is the main attraction. With a chic and modern mindset, STK offers small, medium and large cuts of meat, as well as naturally raised options and market fresh fish entrees. Aside from steak, signature items include Parmesan Truffle Fries; Lil’ BRGs; Crispy Lobster Tail; Sweet Corn Pudding; and Jumbo Lump Crab Salad.

Always a great experience. Took my boyfriend for his birthday and he said it deserve a 5 star. I took away a star because I had to wait an hour before sear. However, Mariana, our waitress made up for it. She was very professional and attentive. The food was on point as usual. I can't get enough of the Brussel sprouts. The cowboy rib eye was to my liking. Thanks for providing a great experience.

Food was very good but menu was only brunch and that wasn’t clear from the website. While the service was prompt, the server had a chip on his shoulder and unfriendly. It made the experience lacking in how special it was meant to be.

Made a reservation for 8pm. Didn’t get seated till 8:40pm. Complained twice asking when our table would be ready and I was told that we were the next to be seated, then we saw 3 other couple be seated instead. (I had to complain AGAIN) The man at the front door was EXTREMELY rude. Picking and choosing who needed to leave out the front area. He told us to go to the bar in the back and wait, when we attempted to go back there, a different employee told us the bar was full. So we were then stuck standing waiting on the stairs, in customer and employees way of walking for 40 minutes. The tables were so tight together you couldn’t even squeeze into your seat without knocking things over. And lastly, our table was uneven and rocking back and forth constantly, when we asked if we could switch to the table next to us once the couple was finished eating, we were told no.

After a short wait we were shown our table by friendly and helpful staff. As soon as we sat down it felt that they were just wanting us to eat and leave as quickly as possible. After ordering our four 6 ounce steaks, they arrived on what resembled a plate for entrees, with a tiny thimbles of our pepper sauce, and a couple of tiny strands of whatever vegetable was handy (a red onion in my case). Definitely not a 6 ounce steak; a 4 ounce at best! Three were butterflied which we did not ask for, and mine was well done as opposed to medium, as ordered. Steaks and fries both pretty cold so we got fries swapped over. 2 glasses of wine and 4 terrible steaks and fries for a cool $400! Basically a fast food steak restaurant at shocking prices!

If you are expecting large meals, you will not see them. My food was great, well cooked , tasty, and still warmed when arrived. Even when the location is always packed, service was faster and everyone had a great attitude. Don’t expect cheap prices. But it is worthy. Ask for the size of your meal first and when I said ask is ask the guy to show you with his hands the size. You don’t want to get a plate with a small piece of meat which will disappear with two bites. Drinks are great. The bread they made is something else. I celebrated my daughter’s birthday and she was happy and had a great meal. I’ll be back for sure. Thank you Jeremy and Kenny R..

It was VERY crowded and after waiting 20 minutes beyond our reservation time, we let the hostess know we were trying to make it to a play after dinner and it was getting tight. She got us seated almost immediately and our waiter, Cameron, was extraordinary. He knew we were there for a nice meal but definitely had to do it rather quickly. Without making it feel rushed, he served us an amazing dinner and got us out the door on time. We were so grateful! Oh, and the food was outstanding! Our filets and lobster tail were cooked to perfection. The Caesar salad was fresh and delicious, as were the spinach and asparagus sides.

Had to send my steak back because I asked for medium rare and I got well done! My granddaughter's first experience in NYC NYC and it wasn't great! The table where they seated us was cold-a bad draft on a cold evening
