STK artfully blends two concepts into one—the modern steakhouse and a chic lounge. A large central lounge area is furnished with creamy leather banquettes and textured crocodile tiles, and is surrounded by an elevated dining room for more formal dining. Theatrical lights illuminate each table, while a DJ creates an energetic vibe throughout the entire space. STK Midtown is located in Midtown Manhattan, just steps from the bustling Theatre District. STK Midtown includes an outdoor patio and separate bar during summer months. As anticipated, steak is the main attraction. With a chic and modern mindset, STK offers small, medium and large cuts of meat, as well as naturally raised options and market fresh fish entrees. Aside from steak, signature items include Parmesan Truffle Fries; Lil’ BRGs; Crispy Lobster Tail; Sweet Corn Pudding; and Jumbo Lump Crab Salad.

Ive been to stk before and had a wonderful experience. This time was slightly diff and only because of the food. Our servers Christian (our waiter) and Hector were amazing and tried to be as accommodating as possible. The drinks were a miss. I am sad I didn’t order the salmon cause the miso glazed chilean sea bass wasn’t good just sweet and the mashed potatoes were a bit soupy. But it may have just been an off night. I’ll give it another go as we work so close by!

Service was great. Cool concept and design and ambiance. Menu had a lot of options. In the “sit down area” with reservations, could not do “happy hour” which was frustrating. Food was delicious, however, overpriced, IMO. If you want fancy alá carte steaks the food tastes good and is plated well. Online says price range $30-$50 but this is incorrect. One time only place.

I’ve eaten here several times. The service is always outstanding, the ambiance is always lovely, the food is always delicious, all the servers attend to your every need, and overall, it's a great experience. I cannot wait until my next visit!

Our server Raheem was great. The food took almost an hour to come out and we only ordered 1 starter. Brought my parents here while on vacation and we were so disappointed with the entrees. 2 filet steaks were ok at best. My wife’s halibut was cold, the fries were cold. My mother found some bones in her fish entree. Everything was just really cold, bland and took such a long time. We had been here previously and it was great hence coming back. We were so disappointed this time and paying $580 for a meal with no alcohol we didn’t really enjoy feels like such bad value. Wouldn’t return based off this experience.

This restaurant was very highly rated on Open Table, but we were extremely disappointed in both the food and service. Orders were taken incorrectly, steaks were improperly cooked, the sides were lackluster if not inedible. The service was spotty, inconsistent, and even rude. We waited an inordinately long time between starters and entrées. This restaurant would barely get a 3.5 in my book, 4.9 is a complete misrepresentation.
