   We dined at this restaurant last night, and unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected, especially given the price point. Upon arrival, we opted for valet parking, only to find a long wait because the valet had lost someone’s keys. The scene was chaotic, with people honking and frustrated guests waiting around. After some time, we finally managed to hand over our car, though it was not a smooth start to the evening. Reservation? What Reservation?: We had a reservation for 8:30 PM and arrived on time, only to be told by the hostess that there were four tables ahead of us. Despite having a reservation, we were asked to wait in the outdoor seating area, which had heaters and couches. We decided to wait, but after 30 minutes in the cold, we checked in again, only to be told there were still two tables ahead of us. At that point, we moved inside to wait in a cramped corridor with other guests. Finally, after a full hour of waiting, we were seated. Our table was placed just two feet away from the exit, which meant every time the door opened, we were hit with cold air. To make matters worse, the tables were crammed so close together that the guests behind us kept bumping into our chairs, making it impossible to sit comfortably. The restaurant was clearly overwhelmed, and while our waiter was friendly, the service was painfully slow. When our food finally arrived: •I had a fish dish, which was fine. •My daughter had mac and cheese, which was also okay. •My husband and son ordered steaks—both arrived cold. For a high-end restaurant where we spent $560 (including tip), we expected much better food and service. After dinner, we retrieved our coats from the coat check, which took longer than expected because they couldn’t locate our items. Then, the valet experience added to the frustration. The valet fee was $20, but when we asked for our car, the valet handed us the keys and told us to find it ourselves.

   We were very disappointed. Our reservation was for 7:15 pm and we were not seated until 7:50 pm after having to stand in the small lobby. Our steak was cold . It was too loud. Overall unless changes made we would not go back

   Restaurant was overbooked. Took 20 min to be seated with reservations. They had too many tables that the waiters couldn’t even walk between them. Our table was wobbling as was the table next to us. Really disappointing environment for the cost. Our appetizer felt like it was warmed up in the microwave. The waitress was so overwhelmed she didn’t even offer desert to us.

   Was here on a business trip and wanted to try something new. It was okay. I would say for your money it was okay, nothing special. Service was okay, food was okay, atmosphere was loud and way too cramped. Probably would. Not Eat here again. Have had better food for less in SLC.

   Enjoyed the food, absolutely delicious, service was wonderful. However they stacked us in like sardines, I’m assuming for the holiday weekend. We were so squished we were getting touched by the waiters and busboys having to go by and could hear every conversation of the people next to us.

   Steak was done well when we asked for it to be medium rare. Tasted like beef jerky. Mashed potatoes were delicious though. That was about it. Steak was way dry!

    Our first experience at STK was way better than this one. They overbooked for Valentine’s Day, so we waited 40 minutes past our reservation and then everyone was packed in like sardines. It was so hard to hear and waiters were constantly bumping into everyone because there wasn’t any room. Our waitress was really nice and she did great, but it was just chaotic and a mess all around. The food was good, but not as good as the first time. We were also seated in this weird upstairs room with 50 other people all at these really crappy tiny tables that barely fit anything. It was so poorly managed.
