   Having been to STK in Nashville in September, which was an all time Top 3 dining experience for our party, it was natural to choose STK in London, closer to home. Sadly, overall, it was a bit of a let down & certainly not worth the £200 per head we spent (with 1 of 5 in the party being vegetarian & another of the 5 being a not very big eater/female). William was friendly but the overall experience did not match the value of the spend.

   The waiters/staff was all over the place had to ask 3 different staff to order drinks on arrival and nobody came until about 30mins later after asking the 4th person. The food had no taste and was bland a meal of 3 people costing £405 would have expected better. I personally won’t be attending again nor my mates, was a complete shambles from poor service to poor food. Completely disappointed.

   Definitely gone down hill. The food is definitely not worth the price. You’d think for the price of the Wagyu steak it would at least be hot. Everything was stone cold and tiny portions. Came last December and it was lovely but won’t be returning after last night unfortunately.

   Service was great. It felt a bit like a strip club look inside but the ambiance was nice. They wouldn’t honour happy hour drinks on the set menu which was annoying. Generally a good dinner.

   Overall I had a very good experience at STK strand last night to celebrate my birthday. The food tasted great, the drinks were good, but the best thing was the service I received from the waiter, he provided me with a birthday cocktail and a special double shot of a sweet concoction which I loved and to end the night I was presented with a beautiful slice of cake and sparklers. The cake was delicious but I couldn't finish as I was so full from the great food I had. The only slightly negative thing I'd say is the noise levels were abit too rowdy for my liking I found myself having to raise my voice just to speak to my friend so she can hear me. Also the lighting was abit too dark, I would've preferred lighting over each table. Other than that I would recommed and I'm sure if u are to go to the bottomless brunch the atmosphere would be amazing!! 8/10
