Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Stonebreaker is a promising new addition to Fayetteville's dining scene. Praised for its "fantastic" food, highlights include mouthwatering scallops and unique dishes like pimento cheese and beetroot chocolate cake. The service is friendly and attentive, though the decor is still evolving. With "amazing" cocktails and a welcoming bar, Stonebreaker has great potential.

This is a lovely spot. Service was very gracious and efficient. Aesthetic is clean, crisp, modern and comfortable. We did have to request to be seated away from kitchen doors (we had a reservation well in advance and restaurant only had 3 occupied tables when we arrived). Bartender was very friendly, good cocktails. We are frequent global travelers and have eaten in every type of restaurant - from Michelin starred to off-the-beaten-path, hole-in-the-wall type spots. Menu is very ambitious - I certainly respect that. 100% chef-driven. However, it would be good to see more/additional variety/options and more "local" style choices. Small plates (oysters, pimento cheese) were superior to large plates/main dishes. It is always nice to have a chicken option other than airline style (I did not order this, but overheard comments from other guests). Wishing this venue huge success and I will return, but certainly hope to see a bit more flexibility in the menu and/or additional options - or maybe a dual concept menu, i.e. Chef's recommendations along with local specialties. Need to dim the lights for evening dining.

We had reservation and entered an empty restaurant and was usher directly to a back table in front of kitchen doors than hostess acted like all the other tables were reserved - ?? We had reservations too - finally was seated in main area and when we left only 2 other tables were occupied. Really bad start Waitress was good I didn’t think food was worth money but would try again

We were so excited to try this new restaurant! Our server was wonderful. Parking is a problem.. dimly lit and not enough of it. Whole chicken was amazing.. burger ..I’ve had much better. Restaurants lighting needs to be dimmed in the evening.. it felt like brunch or cafe.. instead of fine dining (which pricing indicates) in the evening. Avg. ticket for two people 100$. Lots of potential here.. will try again once kinks have been worked out.

It was fine - but if you’re paying 50+ per person it needs to be great. The interior is decent, but seems to be trying to straddle the line between dinner/breakfast vibe which results in the dinner ambience suffering. We were seated next to the kitchen door that was frequently used, getting blasted by fluorescents every time it was opened. Our food took a while to come out, which is fine, but when it did finally arrive both dishes were not very hot…almost as if they had been sitting under a warming plate for a while. My braised lamb was tasty, but my partner’s House Pappardelle was noticeably absent of the promised crispy pork and basically tasted like canned marinara sauce over noodles. Very disappointing. It seems like this has potential, but they have a ways to go before the quality is worth the asking price.

Food was incredible and the drinks were outstanding! Service was pretty good, our waiter messed up a couple of drink orders but apologized and fixed the mistake right away! Would absolutely go back!
