Sud Forno Temperance is housed in a beautiful heritage building in the heart of the financial district with soaring ceilings, custom-designed mosaic floors and installations that celebrate farming and our philosophy of Materia Prima. We invite you to come and enjoy our full-service restaurant that is open for lunch and dinner. Here we serve a number of traditional Italian dishes not found on the Terroni menu alongside well-loved Terroni classics. There is an elegant and intimate dining space on the second floor, as well as vibrant and bright dining space on the main floor. Come experience our Aperitivo hour daily from 4PM with signature cocktails and stuzzichini.
In the spring and summer months, choose to dine on our lush garden patio where you are transported away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown core.

    Disappointed as we love Terroni and this was sub par. Food came out not warm. Lacked flavour. For the price and other restaurants out there this did not compare. I would not recommend.

    The food was great and so was the ambience. The staff was also very nice. My only criticism (and I do recognize that it is the holiday season and they were very busy) is that halfway through our meal my husband and I had finished our glass of wine. We were not approached by our server to ask if we wanted another drink. It wasn’t until we were finished and they were clearing our table asked if we wanted another beverage. Aside from that it was a great time and I would recommend!

    Sat right by the door so it was cold, was loud the server was inattentive. The food was very mediocre at best I was very disappointed as I go there regularly as well as other Terroni restaurant and this was not up to par

    We ordered ten different items ,, and all were terrible. Appetizers, we ordered four , were either over or under seasoned . Tuna crudo, a waste of time. Zero flavour. Beef carpaccio, you’re begging for water when you eat it , so over seasoned you can’t taste the gorgeous beef beneath. The caprese salad !!! A ball of mozzarella on top of some greasy , soggy breadcrumbs! All the food was freezing cold, my son ordered pizza and the cheese was solid by the time it arrived . The filled donuts,,, had no filling. My other son I do believe was served Chef Boyardee . That’s exactly what it tasted like .They asked if it was a special occasion and I don’t know why. It was a birthday but they didn’t put a candle in the dessert or anything. The Chase and Leña are across the street, go to either instead . The food is amazing at both of these restaurants. And warmer inside .

    Great restaurant and food. We were sitting near the door so got all the cold drafts and fumes from the vehicles outside but was otherwise a good atmosphere for catching up with friends

    Great Italian resto to catch up with friends and colleagues, conveniently located near most downtown offices and the path. The food was excellent and the service really shines, great crew. So, I'm happy to recommend this restaurant for any occasion. Enjoy.

    Great holiday team lunch at Sud Forno. They put us in a quiet area on the ground floor, for our group of 12, everyone had a great meal with some excellent starters and mains. Friendly service with helpful recommendations and efficient service. Recommended.

    I usually enjoy the food here, but during my last visit, my main course salad was missing key ingredients, including the dressing and anchovies. Unfortunately, the server didn’t check in until the end of the meal, so I couldn’t address it earlier. My friend’s pasta looked delicious, so I’d recommend sticking with pasta or pizza next time.
