We were not given any utensils to eat with. We had to ask for them. The waitress did not come around much to check on us. My son celebrated his bday and we requested them to sing to him, they did not. He was bummed when they sang to someone else, but told me it was okay and we could just leave. Honestly, the food was not great and in my opinion too overpriced. We ordered a specific drink and they didn’t bring the same one he ordered. To which my son didn’t mind, but that was a $41 drink. Food was not hot when it came out. 100% won’t be back.

My overall experience was disappointing. Our server, Ava was great. The wait time and food quality was disappointing. We had reservations and there was literally only two tables that had guests, so it wasn’t like they were busy at all.

The restaurant was nearly empty, which is unusual for a Sugar Factory. It smelled good upon arriving, like hamburgers. The hostess was not very energetic or friendly, but she seated us after waiting 20 minutes. The server was nice enough, but informed us there was no ice, that the ice machine was not working. Then we found out there were no napkins. He told us to go in the bathroom and get some of the paper towels if we needed to. Brought a tray of utensils out after the food came (1 hour later) and had to pull from the communal tray to get your silverware. At every turn, we were told that they were "OUT" of this or that. For prices that we paid- this was not acceptable. SOMEONE in the company could have run across to the store and got bags of ice and napkins. Then the server just kept blaming the company, (which customers don't want to hear) and forgetting to bring requested items. Food was not up to par for the price. bland, rice under cooked. Spoke to manager. At the end of meal, ice was working again, but it was too late. When leaving, noticed there was litter around the bushes and entryway to restaurant. The manager was outside vaping and I just mentioned that the wakway was pretty littered and he said 'his staff don't pick up outside, the management company is supposed to do that, " while standing out there just vaping and staring at the sky. A leader would have taken 3 minutes while out there and cleaned it up. I now see why this place was empty on a Sunday. We will not be recommending or returning there again. ((Manager gave a 25% discount on the meals in the end.))

We were seated 15 min after our reservation time. The waiter was no where to be found most of the time, and there is a 3% mandatory surcharge on the bill. The food was great, service was terrible. The bathrooms were extremely unclean and actually filthy, not a good look for a restaurant. Going to the Sugar Factory is a novelty for my kids. We won’t go there regularly. Overpriced, and poor service.

Overall we had a good experience due to it being a birthday event. We had to ask for silverware 3 times. They were out of the items we requested for our meals and desserts and they were out of sour cream for our fajitas. We ordered margaritas and were told the only tequila they had were top shelf and the only beer they had was bud light. My experience in Orlando was better!

So I went to Sugar factory as a date with my boyfriend. I reserve my table for 7 o’clock and when I got there, I waited like normally and then once they sell us down, we were waiting for 35 minutes to 45 minutes with no water and no waiter at all until one of the waiters came up to us and asked have you been taken care of? I said no and me and my boyfriend decided to just leave. Honestly, I’m very disappointed and the prices for everything was absolutely ridiculous. So yeah no. The decor was really nice and everything for the food prices the drink prices everything else no. This is really sad for me because I was looking forward for this.
