Food was insanely good. Cocktails were delicious. I wish there was a bit more emphasis on what vinyls were playing, but the volume of the music was great.

Great vinyl music. Very good food but very small portions - you need to get a lot of dishes. And for restaurant week, that’s not possible. Always do the a la carte (not prefixe).

Our first visit to Sunday Vinyl was inspired by Denver Restaurant Week. What a blast! We had their wine pairing to accompany our three courses, and it all was delicious. The wines were unusual and yummy—a sparkling from Portugal, a rich but fruity Cote du Rhône, and a unique red Gamay sparkling from Beaujolais—who knew about this wine? It was beautiful—light berry flavors along with the sparkles—fabulous! The food was delicious, as my first bite of my salad with a mustard vinaigrette was a creamy tangy mouthful, more interesting than could be expected from a dish of greens. Goat cheese added to the richness, but still it was a light and healthy course. The chicken with ancho chili sauce—beautiful! Seared to a nicely browned crisp on the skin, the bite was moist and tasty. There were sweet potatoes beneath the chicken but atop the rich ancho sauce. The plate was beautiful, but I had to drag each chicken bite through that sauce to lap up every bit! Dessert brought a sweet Caramel-ly carrot cake and home made ice cream. A nice indulgence to end the meal, and my week. I am very familiar with Fresca in Boulder, and love to visit every so often when I want to feel special. Sunday Vinyl did not disappoint my expectations. The service was wonderful; my favorite pamper was a quick swipe of the table between each course to mop up any mess that was made. Friendly and attentive, the service made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The music this evening was not my style, but also not overbearing, although a bit loud. Thumbs up to Sunday Vinyl! will relish a trip back, and bring some friends (maybe I’ll find a night where the spinning vinyls are more in tune with my classical or late-20th-century musical tastes)!

Absolutely loved the ambience of this restaurant. It has a fun vibe for drinks and dinner. The beet salad was incredible as well as the sorbet. Felt like the gnocchi, the cod and the croquettes were just OK. None of those items wowed us. The wine pairing was outstanding and truly complimented the food. A table next to us received a great deal more attention than we did and one of our wine pairings was missed. They gave us a champagne instead when we let them know.
