Sunnyside Pizzeria is an intimate neighborhood Italian eatery that seats 35 guests. We serves Neapolitan pizzas (wood-fire), freshly made pastas, panuozzos (pizza sandwiches), and gelato! We are located minutes from the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center and Sandy Springs City Greens. Whether you are looking for a lunch spot, ordering takeout for a night in, or looking for somewhere to take your family for a night out, we've got you covered. Come try our lunch-only panuozzos, the traditional Neapolitan sandwiches made with pizza dough; the best-selling Hot Honey Char or Pistachio pizzas; and our beloved Bolognese or Chicken Piccata pasta. Sunnyside Pizza is a very good restaurant in that. It has fantastic pizzas but also has excellent pasta, salads and appetizers. The lemon pepper chicken wings are probably some of the best in the Sandy Springs area. Staff is very conscientious and services. Excellent nice that you can make a reservation.

This place is immaculate-very different from other pizza joints. The salads were fine, not exceptional. Pasta was a bit over cooked and the marinara sauce was not special. The pizzas were tasty, if not being over burned in the crusts. All in all i would say the restaurant is a one and done. I’m not sure I’d rush back.

We loved it food was excellent! This was our first time and we went for my birthday, was not disappointed at all! Meatballs= delicious Bruschetta was amazing! Pizza flavors were perfect and the dough was excellent! Their gelato was some of the best that I have had since I was in italy! Will totally go back!

This was our first visit to Sunnyside. The food was good, especially the meatball appetizer. However we thought it was expensive. The service was slow. I am not sure if it was because they were really busy. The servers were very nice but maybe had too many tables to cover. We would go back for the pizza but would get it to carry out.

Always love the food, and the service is always excellent. Surprised by how quiet the normally busy restaurant was last night, but maybe it was holiday hangover time. Only detraction was the really strong smell of weed twice during our meal. Maybe someone was smoking out back of the restaurant, but it definitely was a gross addition to otherwise great meal.
