Sushi By Bou is an intimate and timed speakeasy experience featuring a traditional Sushi Omakase or chef's choice. Choose between our classic 12-course menu or get Bougie with our 17-course experience.Our Midtown location, inside of 1225 RAW, is an homage to 1977, decked out with velvet booths, a dazzling collection of mirror balls, and a black-and-white gallery of iconic moments from the legendary disco era. Think Studio 54 meets sushi. On Friday and Saturday nights, Sushi by Bou transforms into BouBar, a chic and vibrant lounge experience with live DJs spinning a mix of classic disco and house music. Come early and stay late to enjoy our craft cocktails, imported sake selection, and high-energy vibes.

Hamachi - Yellowtail
Yellowtail Amberjack is recognized by its bright yellow fin. A mild and sweet taste. Complemented with finely chopped chives.
Akami - Lean Bluefin Tuna
"Red" in Japanese. Rich and deep in flavor and a true taste of the ocean. Topped with fresh ginger.
Botan Ebi - Spotted Prawn
A Japanese delicacy with a unique soft crunchy texture and hints of sweet and citrus flavors.
Ikura - Salmon Roe
Bursting with flavor from our secret 48 hour marinating process. Complemented with Yuzu citrus skin.
Bincho - Albacore
White Tuna, gently torched and topped with daikon and scallion.
Maguro - Chopped Tuna
A blend of fatty and lean tuna, mixed with Japanese pickled radish and toasted sesame oil.
Hotate - Scallop
Mild, sweet, and tender scallops, sourced from the cold northern waters of Hokkaido.

We went to the midtown, Pa location and was extremely over priced. The place was cold and they said the heat wasn’t working. The food was good with fresh ingredients but they did not explain to us what exactly is the sushi. The staff lacks enthusiasm. Overall a waste of money, wouldn’t go again.

My experience here was incredible!!! Haris was our Omakase chef and he was the sweetest. He gave us a free shot of sake and we had the best time ever!!! The qualify of the fish was amazing. Will be back, MANY times in the future!

We had an incredible experience! Chef Harris was amazing. He was very attentive with every piece. The ingredients were very fresh and the flavors were bold. We enjoyed every bite and will definitely revisit!

The food was impeccable! The service was amazing. Our biggest complaints are that the whole thing felt rushed and the music was so loud that it was difficult to hear what was being served.

Truly disappointed. Our server didn’t come over to ask if we wanted to order drinks till 11th piece of the 12 total omakase. Front door kept opening and cold air was blowing in throughout the whole experience. My husband had to keep getting up to close the front door. For the amount that is charged this is truly poor experience.
