   We came for the Walter Scott Wine Tasting and stayed for dinner. We shared the patty melt and the grapefruit and avocado salad. Excellent!

   Great hamburgers. Best thing, though, is the bartenders--Shante in particular--who know regular customers.

   Excellent food as usual, and the manager remembered a less than stellar evening we had several weeks ago and gave us some special treatment on this occasion. Great value for the quality of service and food.

   We all had something different and it was all amazing. Great wine selections. Very reasonably priced. This place is a gem.

   Tarbell’s Tavern is my ‘go-to’ spot for drinks or dinner. They have an amazing bartender and the vibe local and cool.

    Tarbell's Tavern is the casual "cousin" to Tarbell's white tablecloth top-tier restaurant. Alas, the management of the Tavern has learned too much about pricing from its higher series relative. $21 for a hamburger? Sounds like a number from next door than from a more casual eatery.
