The host couple was very nice, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The restaurant does not serve tap water, only bottled which you pay for. The wine list did not offer an option for wine by the glass, which would have been nice for the casual drinker or solo diner. I would have preferred that the quail had been deboned, but besides that, the food was so over salted that if I had high blood pressure, I would have had a stroke.

Sergiy and Galyna are amazing! They treated us like family… we’ve spent a lot of time in France and they made the most authentic French food! We ordered the wild mushroom soup, cassoulet, sweetbreads, smoked salmon & bouillabaisse every bite was delicious…they also helped pair the most perfect wines …make sure you save room for the deserts all made in house Napoleons, Opera Cake and triple chocolate mousse paired with coffee with the perfect crema on top…they make and serve everything to order so give yourself time to relax and soak it all in…it will become a favorite!

not what it used to be. when owned by the French couple. food may have been frozen . casolet was a bowl of tasteless mush . Been burgenoin dry and boiling hot from microwave. no taste. Apple strudel mushy and boiling hot as well . only served bottled water, no tapwater available. Of course it was an up charge and the bread was a charge as well although I have to say it was excellent. The presentation on all of the food was nonexistent . the owner who was our service person had trouble understanding us. It used to be great but not anymore. I’m sorry to have to write this because I know it’s not good for them, but it’s the reality.

The escargots were the most delicious I’ve ever tried, and the duck breast with berry sauce was incredibly tender. An unforgettable culinary experience!

Huge disappointment and so many things were off for a ‘fine dining ‘ restaurant. I arrived at 5:00pm on a Friday night and the restaurant was empty. The server seated me immediately. Asked me if I had any questions about the menu, I asked about the cassoulet, he wrote it down as my entre choice, without waiting for me to ask a question. He oddly then kept tapping his pen on my menu for me to keep ordering. I asked for French Onion soup and he said I would have the mushroom soup. It was 5:05 pm when he walked away with my order. It was a few minutes later when my soup arrived. The mushroom soup was delicious. Then bread I didn’t order arrived. At 5:15 the cassoulet arrived. It was not a traditional cassoulet or similar to any I have ever eaten. It was a cross between a vegetable soup and stew with chunks of pork. There was no duck, no duck confit, and only a few beans. The temperature was lukewarm as if it had just been microwaved, it was not in a traditional cassoulet nor had seen the inside of an oven. Very disappointing. I’m not exaggerating at all, he removed the stew asked me if I wanted dessert or coffee, when I declined, he handed my the check. My check was $87 including a $6 charge for bread I didn’t ask for. After tip, my underwhelming dinner cost $105. When I got in my car it was 5:34. What a shame.

This family-owned French restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience. I had the pleasure of trying the escargot, duck breast, French onion soup, and beef bourguignon, and everything was absolutely delicious. Each dish was full of flavor! Tartine & Tartlette is as close to a small Parisian restaurant as you. can get. The owners, who are also cooking and working the tables, are Ukrainian but trained in France. The menu is the most interesting anywhere, and the food is out of this world. We started with soups: wild mushroom and French onion: both were excellent. My wife then had the pork entree and I had the boeuf bourguignon; both were incredibly wonderful! We just love coming here and really appreciate the owners’ (who are such nice people) efforts!
