My table and I rated Teddy’s a 4/10. We were super excited to try this place because of the hype it’s been getting online. The aesthetics were great, but the food was extremely disappointing. I ordered the Valentine’s Day special, a 14oz New York strip steak with lobster tail on top and a side of broccolini. This was easily the worst meal I have ever ordered at a restaurant in awhile. The steak lacked flavor tremendously and the lobster tail was overcooked. For a 90$ plate, that is extremely unacceptable. The other people in my party were also disappointed with their meals. Overall, the place is beautiful, but I would not suggest this place if you’re looking to dine out.

The high top tables are kind of crammed in the corner by the bar looking into the kitchen. Not too bad for just a couple. I ordered the wedge with steak, which was good. I would recommend serving it on a larger plate. The plate it was served on was no larger than the wedge itself so every time you cut into it, food wound up on the table. Plus you have to dissect a large full slab of bacon to get started! Hahaha, guess it’s just a little growing pains, but need to tighten up ship a bit.

Had a great first time experience at this neighborhood restaurant and bar and I will be back. Peyton was an attentive waiter. Food was fantastic. I recommend the Brussels sprouts and king ranch casserole. Interesting, spicy cocktails. Overall a great place for a date or to meet friends. (It was loud but I was also there on Saturday night and expected it to be “lively”. No complaints but if you are hard of hearing might not be the place to go during peak hours.)

My second time here - first time on patio and first time for lunch. Food was excellent. Grilled cheese , quesadilla, and tortilla soup. Service was attentive and the patio was delightfully quiet. So far so good Teddy’s!

In all fairness, this just seemed like a bad night - potentially understaffed - but it was a Saturday night. This experience was bad enough, I would not return. The waitress gave me guidance on a drink and said it would be like a margarita, it was an old fashion. They forgot the rolls, when they came they were cold. I had to ask for salt for the tortilla soup, it was flavorless. The prices are in line with Austin but inside is super loud, and you sit very close to the next table.

We enjoyed our visit. Food and service was very good. Way too noisy inside so after our pre dinner drinks and appetizers we asked to be reseated outside. They accommodated our request and had a very pleasant experience. We will be back. Very nice addition to the neighborhood

The food wasn’t up to par for the high price, which I don’t mind paying. The employees couldn’t figure out how to break up a check for a party of 7. The manager was a bit rude to my girlfriend, it was her birthday so that wasn’t special. Also, they didn’t do any extra for her birthday but they did for the table next to us that had a birthday. The food took way too long to come out, believe we were there about 3 hours before we left. That caused us to miss our 10pm reservation we had planned for my girlfriend’s birthday. I ordered the most expensive entree, the prime rib and it was the worst prime rib I have had, it came with no sides just a chewy room temp slab of meat. We won’t be back.
