   Overall, our experience was pretty good! The food & drinks were okay and were very over priced. The ambience of the Christmas vibes were really amazing. The only thing that my friends and I were slightly annoyed about a $10 cover but really online their website and OpenTable It states that it’s $5. Which is fine, but if you’re gonna do things like that, it should be accurate pricing and you should make that information more visible to people when booking reservations because that wasn’t the case.

   The servers were really nice but they were definitely understaffed. The restaurant is beautiful and I have really high hopes for it but they have a few kinks to work out. I was also very disappointed with the real food menu / options available to us. They couldn't sit us until after our reservation so by the time we sat down we have 3 options to chose from, two of which were foods I couldn't eat. Drinks were good though and the live music was entertaining.

   Don't tell your friends. Our understanding was that this was an exclusive speakeasy with a dress code and preference for people who make reservations and intend to be regular patrons. No dress code, guys wearing hoodies and Nikes at the bar, people who looked like they just walked out of a barn. Really underwhelming. Also, we got there 5 minutes early but they refuse to let us in until we actually had our 8:00 p.m. reservation. Really stupid.

   I was really excited to return to Tell Your Friends, but unfortunately, it will probably be my last visit. While the ambiance is stunning and definitely a highlight, the prices have become completely out of control. We were hit with a mandatory $10 per person cover charge, supposedly for Phoenix Children's Hospital, but I'm not sure I fully buy that explanation. Drinks are now around $24 each, which felt steep, and my burger, priced at $21, was fine, but not enough to justify the cost. However, my friends' experience was even worse. They ordered the Korean chicken, expecting something special, but all they received was a small basket of basic chicken tenders. They also shared a side of fries for $16, which was more expensive than the appetizer itself! In total, we spent $70 for just one drink and one food item, and frankly, it felt way too overpriced for what it was. On top of the sky-high prices, the tables were dirty and in need of cleaning. It’s really disappointing because the place has potential, but it’s just not worth the cost anymore.

   The ambience is off the charts. By far my new favorite bar in town. Chris, our bartender, was extremely knowledgeable and attentive, and added to the great experience we had. Already planning our next visit!

    We really enjoyed this speakeasy. Great ambience without outstanding cocktail program we really appreciated the fact that they thoroughly disclosed a cover charge for the band and it was well worth it. You should definitely check this place out .
