   Tellers would’ve been top notch if the service had matched the ambience. We had brunch on a Sunday, but it was the same as every other breakfast day. The valet was friendly & quick but we were not told ahead that valet parking was 19$+tip. The hostess was also friendly & immediately seated us. The chairs were very comfy. The old bank was very beautiful & cool.Our waitress was terrible. 1 person had oatmeal, 1 had a yogurt parfait, & 1 had scrambled eggs, potatoes, English muffin & bacon, requested extra crispy. We first ordered coffee-2regular and 1 cappuccino. The cappuccino was asked to be 1/2 caff. She came back w/ two coffees & said they couldn’t do half caff and they couldn’t do de-caff. The order was changed to reg cappuccino. There was no plain sugar on the table for the coffee, just 3 kinds of artificial sweetener and sugar in the raw. A request was made for plain white sugar, which eventually was put on the table in a little plastic to go container, so no plain sugar in packets. The cappuccino wasn’t particularly hot, & it took so long for her to come back with the sugar that by the time she did the coffee was barely warm. We then waited 30 minutes for her to come back and take our order. Actually getting the food took another 20 minutes. The oatmeal came with an odd assortment of toppings-cocoa nibs, flax seed, almonds and berry compote, and was barely warm. A request was made for brown sugar for the oatmeal, and the person with the yogurt parfait asked for berry compote as well because the yogurt was plain and very sour, with fresh fruit.It took another 15 minutes to get the brown sugar and berry compote. By then the oatmeal was room temperature. It took another 15 minutes for her to come back and I asked for the check. Every time we requested something, she acted put out and annoyed. It really wrecked the entire experience.

   They were so great! Would recommend and definitely go back. They were willing to work with us for our large party reservation and were very polite!

   Our waiter Joe was fantastic! He explained the history of the building and was knowledgeable about the menu sharing details about each dish. It was a Wednesday night, but a harpist was playing and beautifully, might I add. A superb meal and a wonderful evening,

   Birthday lunch was a massive success. 5 star accommodations, we only had pizza but it was gourmet, classy seating, too notch service!!

   The waitstaff definitely needs training- everything about the service was less than adequate for a $300 meal for 2! The drinks were good, the scallops- artichoke-garlic with orzo a must, burrata appetizer delicious, Cacio e pepe terrible and wayyyyyy over peppered-literally the worst we have ever had.

   If you are looking for a great landmark nestled downtown, this is it...option for dinner...or really cool cocktail bar in the basement...would go back...

    The staff was amazing, very professional and polite. The smoked mushrooms were phenomenal Tellers is a fabulous dining experience.
