Located on the third floor of Eataly Boston, Terra is a unique restaurant inspired by earth and fire. The dining room centers around a wood-burning Italian grill, where the Terra culinary team cooks raw ingredients over burning flames, allowing the simple flavors to shine.

In every earthy dish, the fire’s smoked warmth rekindles our fundamental connection to the elements. Plentiful and playful, the grilled plates are perfect to share around the restaurant's rustic tables, especially when paired with seasonal drinks.

Fantastic. Ate at our own pace, everything was delicious, cocktails and wine included. Service was great, not intrusive, have what we wanted when we wanted it. Loved it, will be back soon.

Good dinner for our family of four, overall we felt papardelle pasta and steak were best dishes. Our server was great, but service was slow - especially for our early dinner at 4:30pm. We ordered appetizers of bread, fondue/croutons, and lamb kabobs — they were all ok, nothing too special. We actually enjoyed dipping our bread in the fondue cheese the most. The homemade pasta was delicious with the mushroom papardelle, and the sirloin steak was fantastic. We did not order dessert - but were encouraged to try the “best” tiramisu in MA. We would return - but likely stick to salad and main courses and skip the apps next time.

Service was great and ambiance was nice. Started with a very average burrata, not much to the dish. Vegetables on the main were unevenly cooked, some even raw but wagyu was cooked and season beautifully. Finally, tiramisu was top tier.

This was the third time we went to Terra for a family celebration. We kept coming back because in our past visits the food was simply outstanding. (I grew up in Italy and I considered Terra the only Italian restaurant in Boston worthy a visit.) Unfortunately something went wrong yesterday. We ordered some skewers as appetizers, and those were excellent, but all our mains were a disappointment. My husband had the seared cod. I am not a fan of big portions, but the size of the piece of fish that was served to him would have been small for an appetizer. There were more olives than fish on his plate. I had the tonnarelli (thin spaghetti) with lobster. The lobster itself was good, but it was in a tomato sauce where the tomatoes were burned. Lastly, my son had the tagliolini with white truffle. He had them in the past and we came back because he wanted them again. I don't know what was wrong with the truffle he was served, but it had no smell (which is very weird for a white truffle, and disappointing at a $60 price tag for a plate of pasta). The service was outstanding as usual, and our server went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful evening, but the food was a disappointment, and I am really sad about that.

Nice and bright atmosphere, with great options for vegetarians. The food is consistently excellent. The ricotta and squash appetizer is outstanding.

The cod was good, but swimming in tomatoes and a few olives. Not sufficiently interesting or appetizing. Fish dishes should be accompanied by a vegetable offering and or small side pasta. The bolognese was very good. Crudo was very fresh but lacked any interest and could have been improved by serving with some lemon wedges.
