   Great food, great service, our server,Candace is the best! Very attentive, personable, kind and so nice! We love our dinners at Terrain! Great food/drinks and nice ambience!

   My disappointment is not with service or food; both were very good. It is with management who doesn't seem to see the obvious. The sunshine flowing in from the beautiful large windows is lovely, unless you are seated facing them and need sunglasses to eat. Appropriate shades are needed for different times of the day.

   Sat at the bar for dinner. Bartender was very attentive, took our order right away and checked in with us frequently. My wife loved the Christmas gift shop

   The cafe is lovely with a varied menu. Everyone enjoyed their food but while the server was nice, she repeatedly forgot requests (such as the iced tea which had to be ordered twice, the milk for tea which had to be ordered twice, and bread which had be requested twice then arrived without butter). I wrote in the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and asked the hostess to make sure the waitress knew about the birthday and also to give me the check, but there was no acknowledgement of the birthday and the check was handed to someone else. The server apologized for the delays and may have had too many tables. Also, I didn’t realize until we got home that we were charged for a Diet Coke we didn’t order or receive.

   So crowded and noisy for the holidays! Our cocktails came after the meal was served. Soggy pot pie. Out of salmon. We were seated in a secondary room and missed the ambiance of the main dining area. Wait staff very pleasant. Try again at a quieter time.

   Great experience started with a cocktail at the bar. Bar staff was experienced and friendly. Seasonal cocktails were delicious and unique. We were seated for dinner in a less desirable dining area. It felt like overflow from the main dining room. This was disappointing because we made a reservation in advance. Noise was higher here too. Terrain should list the two dining rooms on OpenTable so guests can select. (Other OT restaurants do this) If we knew we were getting stuck in the less desirable section we would have picked another restaurant. Food was good and also unique.

    This was my first visit to Terrain. It will definitely not be my last! I wanted to take my mom to a place for lunch that was unique & special, while offering delicious food. Terrain did not disappoint. From the host to the servers, everyone was so welcoming and kind, trying to make sure our experience was fabulous. We both ordered the grass-fed burgers. Cooked perfectly to order, and sooo juicy & tasty! Seasonal cocktails added a festive touch. We will be visiting again very soon.
