   Our group of 4 really enjoyed dining at Terrapin last night. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and taken to our table. Our server was excellent. Very patient explaining all our options. We ended up ordering a number of appetizers and she timed bringing them out to us perfectly. We never felt rushed or overwhelmed, ensuring that we enjoyed each dish. Everything was very fresh, tasty and artistically presented. We were very impressed with each dish we ordered but especially loved the charcuterie board. We look forward to going back again.

   Highly recommend. Had a terrific meal with an old friend at Terrapin. Our server Naz was delightful, and the entire team worked well together to ensure we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was superb. Our duck breast and filet main courses were cooked to perfection and to our specifications. The dark chocolate Valrhona pudding with sea salt and a touch of olive oil was exceptional and memorably unique. I loved it. Appreciated the in-house baked sourdough bread that accompanied our starters. We will absolutely return to Terrapin when we visit Virginia Beach again.

   Brian and staff are always attentive to their patrons. Rodney the chef is one of thee best chef in Virginia Beach. The food is delicious and creative !

   The experience is incredible. It is incomparable to any other restaurant in the area. It is a bit expensive, but it should be. That is why I put the value at a 5 star. The tasting and wine pairing combination is unmatched. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

   Overall very good experience. Food was good. Drinks were good. Service was amazing. Sitting “outside” was ok. Lots of vehicle noise.

   We had booked our 36th wedding anniversary originally but a heavy snowstorm caused all plans to change. We rebooked the following Friday night but I didn’t mention my anniversary again on that booking. They remembered and made such a fuss! Best table in the restaurant, commemorative menus and a free Veuve champagne aperatif. The food, as always, was fabulous. A really memorable and special night. Thank you!!

    It is a small restaurant so you feel like you have your own waiter for whatever you need! Very attentive service. Food was outstanding. So fresh. Absolutely delicious. Great selection of spirits. We did the prefix menu. Highly recommend.
