   The staff was very friendly, the food arrived very quickly, and everything was delicious! We will definitely return in the summer when the windows are fully open. It has a bit of a rooftop vibe on one side.

   The host downstairs wasn’t very pleasant. The host upstairs was absolutely nice! We sat at the bar, drinks weren’t good we didn’t even finish them. The guacamole had no flavor, and the tacos were either dry or lacked flavor. Overpriced and not worth it at all. Won’t be back.

   It was a nice place. The location is great being on Fulton market Street. Relatively large but was pretty quiet for a weekend vibe. Mainly high table seating so keep that in mind! Overall good experience. Quesadilla sizes are definitely huge so expect to share!

   Definitely recommend Texan Taco for a happy hour after work or to meet up with old friends and enjoy great food and drinks.

   The drinks were decent but when telling the waiter about severe nut allergy he made jokes about allergy and said she couldn’t eat anything. Then was very wish washy on answer if there is contamination with nuts and would not give a straight answer without joking. We left after the encounter due to the inconsistency in answers and lack of seriousness to the matter. I have been there before and service is usually decent but disappointed after this. Highly don’t recommend going there if you have nut allergy.

   Was in town for a conference and we wanted to try something other than deep dish pizza. The restaurant was very loud with the live band and we could barely hear ourselves talk. The issue however came when we tried to pay our bill, the waitress said we couldn’t split our check. While not ideal, it was her attitude that she had while saying it. That along with the fact that the food wasn’t very good made the experience the worst. I would not recommend this establishment.

   When we arrived, no one was in restaurant/bar. We were seated at a table and a server came to take drink orders. Drinks came and then we waited 15+ minutes to see if food order would be taken. By then the bar area was filling up. No server came back to our table, so I had to get up and find someone who looked like they worked there. Another server then came over and took food and add’l drink orders at our table. When it was time to pay bill, we paid the second server and tipped her well. The problem came almost 40 minutes later when some random guy came over and told us we didn’t pay the “first bill”. What first bill?! We were seated at one table and never left that table. Apparently the first server opened a ticket and the second server opened a second ticket. Not…my…problem! I had to hunt someone down to even order and now I am presented with multiple bills at multiple times by multiple people. The restaurant excuse was “we got busy”. Really?! You are a bar in the West Loop at Christmas time. You will get busy! The mix-up on their end became my problem. Minimally I could have been offered Happy Hour pricing. Too many other great places to visit in West Loop - will not return (and neither will those I was with who are from large corporate businesses in West Loop).
