   We couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate my mom's 63rd birthday. Kitty our waitress was unbelievable exceptional 10/10 I hope our appreciation showed in her tip. Thank you kitty again. We arrived and were greeted by absolutely beautiful decor and live soft music. we were seated right away. We did have reservations. Our drinks came out first our appetizers about 10min later. And the portion sizes are perfect, (bigger then usual) reserve has michelin star worthy food and aura but bar and grill prices. We were so very impressed everything was absolutely delicious we ordered the crispy brussel sprouts and lump crab cake for our appetizers. The KC strip, the citrus black cod, and the baked chicken for our meal. It's definitely upscale perfect for just drinks or a date. I look forward to returning.

   The appetizers and drinks were fabulous. We had the ribeye steak, chicken and the steak salad for entrees and everyone was just fair for the price. Presentation was very poor as well for the price. I wouldn’t go back and get dinner, but I’d come back for the espresso martini, Brussels sprouts and crab cake. They were setting up the band when we left, so we didn’t get to experience that.

   We went on a Saturday night and they had live music. We typically aren't the type to enjoy a band but we were pleasantly surprised. They were by far the best part of the night. The food was fine. The shrimp and grits were better than most, but the other foods were just mediocre at best.

   We decided to go for our anniversary dinner. The service was nonexistent and the atmosphere was a bar with tables. No ambiance. No recognition of our anniversary, despite adding it to our reservation. We were so disappointed that we changed our mind on dinner, ordered a drink and appetizer. We went somewhere else (the Bristol) for dinner. So glad we left.

   Whoever was cooking last might needs serious instruction on how to properly cook a steak. I ordered my fillet medium it came out well done the first time and medium rare the second time. When we asked for the steak to refired, they told us it would be 20 minutes. No steak takes 20 minutes to do properly. For a restaurant of this caliber this should not happen. We come in here often we absolutely love the place and the food but last night was off. .

   Wilted brown lettuce and cold steak with warm lettuce and it was absolutely terrible but the waiter took it off our bill

    Kc strip was done perfectly, devilled eggs were excellent, loved the hashbrown. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and were not disappointed.
