Our Christmas Menu MUST be pre-ordered, it cannot be order on the day of booking.
The Anchor in Danbury is the epitome of an English Country Inn, boasting beautiful traditional beams, quaint shining brass and a warm welcoming atmosphere which has made this pub a firm favourite for many years.
We have a lovely large garden with a fun children's play area, great for keeping the kids entertained while you catch up with friends and family over a relaxing drink or with some great food.
- Four legged friends are welcome at the pub, please ask our friendly staff for confirmation on which areas can accommodate you as we do require that dogs are kept out of the main dinning areas.
- Please note reservations with a dog are necessary, and can only be taken over the phone on 01245 222457 stating you have a dog.
- If you have a pushchair/buggy we ask that you call to make reservation, due to limited space.

We all enjoyed a lovely, unrushed lunch - food was delicious - service was excellent … table served by several different team members all with a smile and professional attitude … we will visit again no doubt about that.

Four of us shared a wonderful two hours sharing a fantastic meal. Ambience, quality of food and service were top notch. Very good value for money.

This not being our first at this restaurant we find the service second to none. The menu is very varied. The food excellent. We have taken our friends here and they are always impressed.

Had a lovely roast dinner. Staff very helpful, friendly. Food was very good. Christmas decorations all up, so looked very festive. There was a medical incident at one of the tables, the staff were on it very quickly. Knew their first aid and dealt with it calmly and effectively.

Thoroughly enjoyable lunch for 4 :- 1.Ham, eggs & Chips 2.Sea Bass, Crushed new potatoes, veggies 3.Cheesy cottage pie 4.Fishfinger sandwich with salad, chips All lovely. We will be returning to eat again.
