   I've been to the Barrel Club twice, each with one guest. Each time, the servers were energetic and personable, the food arrived to our table in a timely fashion and the entire vibe (pictures included) is something I would return to again and again. Both times visited, I've gone for brunch. I will come back for dinner in the spring or summer and bring a full party of friends so we can enjoy together!

   What an amazing experience! My sister and i came in for brunch and were lucky to have Chris as our server. His knowledge and overall vibe were so welcoming and friendly- this made our experience top tier. Food was bomb- we had Oysters Rockefeller for appy and shrimp and grits, short rib tinga skillet. Will definitely coming back - especially when Chris is working!

   I’ve been here 3x now. The lamb chops, fried green tomatoes, steak. lobster tails all the bomb. U can’t go wrong with the great drinks. They have their own brand whiskey (old fashioned). This place is the bomb. Will be back for visit #4 soon.

I had the pleasure of celebrating Valentine’s Day at The Barrel Club in Oak Lawn, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance set the perfect tone for a romantic evening. The service was outstanding—attentive yet never intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations, ensuring our experience was top-tier. Now, onto the star of the evening—the steak. Cooked to absolute perfection, the cut was tender, flavorful, and expertly seasoned. Every bite was a delight, paired beautifully with their selection of handcrafted cocktails and a well-curated wine list. The sides were equally impressive, elevating the entire meal to a five-star dining experience. To top it all off, the dessert selection was divine, providing the perfect sweet ending to our night. If you’re looking for an upscale dining experience with impeccable service, outstanding food, and a cozy yet elegant atmosphere, The Barrel Club is a must-visit.     This was our first time at Barrel Club, and while it was just OK, we probably will not return. They must have had issues with customers as there are a number of off putting rules. 18% added to all checks, regardless of party size. Not a big issue for me as I generally tip well more than this, but did not do so here. Service was below average, probably due to the fixed, secured tip. Dress code, with specifics, no slanted hats, revealing clothing, etc. Again, not an issue for my wife and I, but it does give you pause as what motivated the place to scribe what should be common sense. A warning that food cannot be returned to kitchen for quality, cooking length, taste etc. This place must have had some very bad experiences to actually print this on the menus. While I would probably never send anything back to the kitchen, I believe a reputable establishment would stand behind their preparations and try to make the customer happy. Having an option to buy the kitchen a round of drinks for $25 was very tacky. Literally, on the menu. This after an 18% service fee is already applied to their above average prices. My recommendation, go ahead and try, but you probably will agree with me and then avoid a repeat visit.
