   Lovely meal,4 years ago this lunchtime meal was £7 its now £17,I live in the real world but for a pensioner this is expensive,due the price instead of every week I visit once every few months.

   This was the first visit to the Blackwell Ox as a birthday treat. The location was perfect and having holidayed in Thailand we were quite looking forward to it. We were seated in a bay window in a small room away from the main area, which was, we thought, good. The food was exceptional and the service impeccable. Very highly recommended. However, we were alone in the small room making the ambience disappointing.

   Another lovely meal at the Blackwell ox. Service, food and ambiance all perfect for enjoyable evening. Mid January on a Monday most places will be closed or empty but not this place. Testament to all staff who continue to excel at what they do.

   Food was excellent as usual. Service from new waitress was also excellent. Very pleasant and helpful. Very enjoyable evening.
