My husband enjoyed this very new restaurant in Asbury Park. I had the She Crab soup. It was delicious. Also we shared the cornbread. It was very tasty. Light and not heavy. My burger was perfect and my husband enjoyed he chicken meal. It reminded of smothered chicken. Our server was great too.

Very pleased with my first trip to Palmetto. I had my doubts, but my husband & I were impressed. Still thinking about the delicious drink I ordered (The Bradford). Pimento cheese & fried saltines were tasty. We each got the crab cakes for dinner. I would have preferred more lump crab meat but these were solid. The restaurant looks gorgeous. The BarCo peeps did a nice job. As far as boardwalk restaurants go, this might be the best right now. I’ll be back.

The restaurant has very nice esthetics, good design etc. cutlery and dishes well selected. Unfortunately a single open space therefore extremely noisy, you will have to yell for others on the table to understand you. I suppose that’s the drawdown when you are a concert venue but also a restaurant. Food is VERY bland. Ordered the Cacio e Peppe which you would expect to have a southern twist. Taste is hard to put in words but there was zero Cacio and zero Peppe flavor. And nothing that made it taste souther either besides some boiled sweet corn. Not even from the grill. Probably the worst Cacio e Peppe I’ve ever eaten. For $28 you expect something that’s at least decent. It’s a new restaurant so I hope the kitchen will listen to reviews and improve the dishes. Server forgot to bring one of the dishes, which added to a negative experience.

Too loud to sit down and enjoy a meal. Chicory old fashioned was good, a little too sweet, but still good. The Bradford was tasty. Mini Mary oyster shooter were not good, the shot was way too thick and warm. Fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese were great. Didn’t stick around for entrees since it was too loud.

Great food, definitely a good spot for a no rush-slow paced meal with an ocean view.

Only 2nd day open. Many kinks need to be worked out. Food served cold. Some lacked taste or were overseasoned. Noise level through the roof. Seated near the front door when opened, very windy needs plexiglass divider. The server was kind thoughtful and did a great job. Wouldn't go here again.

This new place was mediocre at best. The waiter tried but we waited over 1 hour to get our entrees. Once we got them the food was not great for the price. The lobster gumbo was full of rice and sauce The lobster was few and far between. They actually added empty lobster shells to try and show good portions. I had the fried chicken. The chicken was fine but portion was kiddie portions. For apps we ordered the boiled oysters but we got smallest raw ones you could imagine. Also had the biscuits. They were fine but bite sized. Overall. Not worth the money for the dinner. Maybe show up for a drink and light app before you head out to quality restaurant. Really feel sorry for the folks around us who just ordered entrees and were waiting like over an hour for food.

This is a great place to eat if you’re going to a show at the Stone Pony. Located across the street, it has good Mexican food and drinks with an ocean view. I love their empanadas and quesadillas.
